 + -1 moreEverything went very well. Working with Frank and his assistant Corey was wonderful. They were receptive to my ideas, always checked with me before doing anything and were happy to try some things out. For example, they were happy to compare a couple of different floor trims on my floor and to do a comparison of wood stains on a sample before going ahead with work. As far as the actual work went, it is great. You can't see a seam or a nail hole anywhere. The doors are all straight and open and close perfectly. The paint job is wonderful - smooth and even. When Frank wasn't actually at my house he was always available by phone or email and always responded in a timely manner if not immediately when I had questions. Even after the work was done, I contacted Frank to tell him I didn't like the color I chose for the stair railing. He said he would be happy to come back and make a new one for me. Overall, I have to say that this has been one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor.
Description of Work: I had the downstairs den area of my split ranch, the adjoining hallway and the adjoining area leading into the garage gutted. Work included: new tile floor, new electrical outlets and switches, old radiators switched to baseboard heating, new closet doors, new oak staircase installed, new exterior back door and screen door installed, concrete work done in the garage to even out floor, and painting of all walls, trim, doors, ceiling and the new concrete work done in the garage. The price does not include the cost of the tile and back door which I purchased myself.
