I'm very happy with them. The price was more than what I would have paid if I'd gone to one of these things where you pay $19 or $22 or something like that. It was more expensive than an oil change somewhere else, however I don't mind paying the extra because I know the job is done right and I know when I need service on the car, it gets done right so if he makes an extra $5 or $10 on an oil change, I really don't care. I can show up without an appointment and he's always been able to squeeze me in except for one time. When you can find a mechanic that you trust, you go with him. I've been on Long Island for 40 years and he's the first mechanic that I found that I think I could really trust so I'll stick with him. I know I can get a better price on something like an oil change but if I were to take my car for some serious work, I would only take it there and it's a matter of trust rather than worrying about the price. When I left the car there and they said it will be ready by a certain time, it was ready by that time. I wouldn't even venture to try using another auto company on Long Island. If I broke down in Florida, I go to somebody down there but if I broke down anywhere on Long Island, I'd have AAA tow it to Faithful Automotive.

Their prices are very reasonable. The quality of their work is excellent. People who own collectible cars go there because the service is so good. They are very caring about the cars. I can usually get an appointment the very next day. The cars are always ready when they say it will be ready. Car service is more than just work for them; it is a lifestyle.

I used this service because they were recommended by a neighbor and they are three blocks away from my home.
These guys know their stuff. They are all car buffs. Caveat: They prefer working on older cars, say, pre-2008 all the way back to the
1930's. Many car collectors come here with their cherished rides. So, if you have an older car that you need to keep running, and its
out-of-warranty, or (like me) you hate your original dealership, this is the car doc for you.

Outstanding. I have 3 cars including a 69 year old antique vehicle. I've had preventive maintenance and repair work done on the cars on several occasions in the past year. They were recommended to me by another antique car owner. Each job was done perfectly and at reasonable cost. The owner, Chuck Knakal, and the mechanics are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They work on any vehicle, any age. They don't mind your watching the work being done. You feel like you're in a car club or hobby shop because they love to talk cars and enjoy their work. The best auto service experience I've ever had.
