Description of Work: Best store and workshop we've seen for beautifully and perfectly restored fine pianos. We purchased an impeccably restored 1927 Mason & Hamlin, after trying the many pianos in Denis Pereca's gallery. Dennis is a true craftsman and musician, and it was a breath of fresh air to be shown fine instruments by a real technician rather than a piano salesman. Pianotek easily had the largest selection of fine grands on Long Island. The big piano stores had more instruments, but most of the stock was of poor quality or over-priced. If you are looking for a piano, you must spend a couple of hours with Dennis and his instruments in his shop. He also has a useful website, through which he has provided pianos worldwide.

+ 0 moreGreat service. Company responded to my emails quickly and was able to schedule an appointment in my home on a Saturday morning (at my convenience). The owner came. He was knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. He explained things and asked questions about the instrument. He explained how to adjust the sustain if it was a problem again. Eeasonable fee. I would use his services again.

+ -1 moreI usually tune the pianos twice a year. He is prompt. He comes when he says he's going to come. I bought my pianos from him, so I have no reason to switch. I have no complaints. He's a friendly guy. He is nice to have for a couple hours. He definitely knows a lot about pianos. His name is Dennis. I would definitely recommend him. I've had him for about five years now. He knows his stuff inside out. He is always accessible.
