After taking a large down payment Mr Stern and his helper worked for four days removing and partially replacing the Yankee Gutter on one section of the house. After stating that they would return in a few days to complete this part of the work, they have failed to return. In addition, they left the edge of the house exposed to the rain. Repeated calls to Mr Stern go unanswered. Despite my request for them to at least put up tarps, the have not returned. Consequently I was forced to put up tarps which have been partially effective. The leaking has caused interior water damage in four rooms on one side of the house (a rental unit). The tenant who resides there has notified me that they plan on moving out due to this situation. In addition there is the fear of mold forming. This situation is now an ongoing nightmare which was caused by this negligent Contractor. I am forced to find a new Contractor to finish the work. I will also have to seek legal remedies for the damage caused by this Company. Further investigation on my part has revealed that Mr Stern still owes a former client $3800 from a two-party Insurance check that he was given to cash. Stay away from this Company. They might have had a good reputation in the past but now they are poison.
