Great. Only took an hour

Everything went well.  The handrail is on tight.  I had this provider in the past and he was very good.

Mike was great -- on time, fair price, and even fixed a few other things for free.

We have used Mike once before and liked him so we used him again for the above projects  He was punctual for the estimate and finished it in a reasonable amount of time, and we booked him there and then.  I cannot speak to the price because he's the only handyman we have used since moving into our house 3 years ago. 
He was punctual the day he was to do the work.  He didn't waste any time and finished in what I felt was a reasonable amount of time.  He cleaned up after himself and brought most of the garbage to the curb. I also had a few questions as he did the work and he answered them for me.

I emailed Mike about a week ago to have a hole in a ceiling repaired, and I had a very wobbly ceiling fan that we were afraid to use.
Mike got back to me the same day and we set a date for him to come by and do the work.  He recommended that we also have a new ceiling fan on hand in case the old fan was the problem. 
Mike showed up on time and went right to work.  He did end up replacing the ceiling fan, which was fine the old one was very old.  He was finished in a couple of hours and everything looked great.  He cleaned up and you wouldn't know anyone was even here.  I am very happy with his work, his pricing was very fair and I would recommend him to friends and neighbors without hesitation.

Mike's estimate was thorough and reasonable. He showed up exactly on time, was flexible regarding our priorities, was always  clean and careful. Debris was bagged and set at the curb for the trash people, which is customary in our town.  We were impressed with the quality of goods he sourced - particularly the fence and railings. We had a few minor problems that didn't have evident solutions but that he solved right away.
Mike has a good sense of humor and seemed to appreciate our home. I will call him without hesitation.

My experience with Mike was truly a breath of fresh air in an industry where too many contractors over promise and under deliver. Mike was at our home within 1 day of a phone call, got us his estimate in a timely fashion and stayed flexible as we added more projects to the list.  His pricing was very fair and he worked extremely clean.  We are looking forward to having him back at the house for our next round of projects!

Amazing!! I called Angie's List for a "Handyman" referral in my area. They gave me three names and numbers. I called all three but never heard from the other two; Mike called me back THAT NIGHT and scheduled an appointment to come over for an estimate the next day (he was nearby on another job and came in during a lunch break). So here it is, a week later (after working here for two days), the job is finished and the painter is coming on Monday!
 Mike is the consummate professional; after he's gone you wouldn't know he was there. He cleans up completely, takes the garbage OUT of the house and vacuums. His craftsmanship is impeccable; there is no doubt in my mind that we won't see a single seam after the painter leaves. The corners on my molding are mitered flawlessly (my father was a woodworker, so I'm well aware of the way things should be!) After having a conversation with Mike I realized that he shouldn't be calling himself a "Handyman", ----he's a general contractor! He can install closets and fix sheet rock, but he can also put in a new bathroom or kitchen as well as electrical work. He told me the only thing he DOESN'T do is paint! But that's OK, I can call Angie's List for that!
Get your "To-Do" list compiled and call Mike's Handyworks (631-664-5105) and let him take care of the rest. I promise you'll breathe easier knowing the job is done right!

Mike was a complete professional from beginning to end. He showed up for the initial estimate and gave me a couple of options for how he could do the job (and priced out each option). He answered questions clearly and provided unbiased advice. Once the job was underway, he came on time every day, worked hard, cleaned up after himself, and kept me well-informed about his progress and his schedule. His work was beautiful and I'm very happy with my new bathroom. He also came up with creative solutions to a couple of other repairs unrelated to the bathroom. His prices are completely fair and I feel I very much got my money's worth. He is smart, experienced, conscientious, professional, and a nice guy, as well. Clearly, someone who takes pride in his work. I recommend him without reservation.

Mike gave me an estimate, was exactly on time on the day he scheduled with me, performed all the work he reviewed with me, and it looks great.  I highly recommend him (he was a nice guy as well).

Mike did the work himself.  He showed up at 8:30 AM, as he said he would and began work promptly.  He did a great job with the dry wall work.  I'll be using his services in the future.

He is great. He was on time and he was neat. He did a great job. He finished in what he told us how long it would take. He wasn’t here all that long. I would definitely use him again.

Michael left Michael a phone message several weeks ago and he promptly returned my call to ask about the details of my project and set up an appointment for an estimate. He confirmed the appointment via e-mail and arrived on time and quoted me a fair price. He was unable to keep his original date to perform work but he contacted me in a reasonable time and we were able to re-schedule. Michael also honored the angies list discount several weeks after discussing price. He arrived on time yesterday and completed the stair case to my satisfaction and fixed the fence for free. I was very happy with Michael's
consistent and prompt communication. Highly recommend, would definitely hire again.
