This review is for the Internal Medicine practice inside Huntington Medical Group. Dr. Perillo is a good, competent doctor. The staff and office, however, are horrible and despite the fact that we like the actual doctor and treatment, we will be seeking other medical care. It is extremely difficult to make an appointment, if the phone is ever even picked up. I once waited over 45 minutes on hold to make a reservation and the phone was never answered. The reception desk staff are highly unprofessional and talk loudly about other clients within earshot of those in the waiting room.

We have always been happy with them.  The office staff and doctor are very good.  We have been going to them for 17 years.

They are accommodating and have good reviews.

The visit went well. I saw Dr. Spak (pronounced Spok) and he was very knowledgeable. I would use him again.

It was fine. There location is always convenient for us and for my son when he needed to see an eye doctor. They took him in quickly, diagnosed the problem and he has been fine. If the office environment includes their central location then I would give it an 'A' grade. Their punctuality was good and I do not remember having any problems with the friendliness of their staff. I also did not have any problems with their treatment and billing.

I was a patient of Dr. Perillo for many years until she told me that my blood test numbers were not good, she would not treat me for diabetes any longer, she told me to find an endocrinologist to take care of me because she was NOT going to answer to the insurance company about my lack of success.















After being a patient for so long, I was really disillusioned and switched to a primary care physician outside the Huntington Medical Group network. I no longer need to take some of the drugs she prescribed, my blood test numbers are my lower and my new doctor actually talks to me and counsels me. I didn't realize how much better things could be until I made the switch. I do not regret it for one minute.















Additionally, the billing department at HMGPC is awful. I have never gotten a and quot;billand quot; for services. However, they know my address when they want to send a statement and mark it past due. My new physician invoices promptly and with detailed explanations of the services. What a breath of fresh air.

He is an extremely competent doctor and he is very accessible. The office staff is nice, but it is hectic. There is a little bit of stress to go through the office, but then once you are on the other side of the it's very good. It's very relaxed once you get to the other side of the door.

I have my Medicare and Dr. Gentil is a very very good doctor. He is very thorough and very professional. He is a nice guy.

He is an excellent doctor. I have been going to Dr. Bhasin since April, he is the first cardiologist I have seen. He is a very accurate doctor and diagnosis. As a patient you just need to listen to what he is saying.

The group is very well run, very organized place. I never have any issues with them, especially re billing or appointments. Staff is very friendly. Very good doctors. I've been seeing Dr. Singer for years. Had my yearly exam. She answered all my questions thoroughly. I have a lot of confidence in this doctor.

The doctor saw me right away and sent mt to the emergency room at the hospital right across the street. I was admitted and given pain medication and antibiotics intravenously. The doctors and nurses were all good and my stay lasted 3 days. The doctor visited me every day. I did not require surgery.

Very quick appointment always on time and quick they alway call the next day to see how she is

Dr. Andrew Putane is a wonderful doctor and I have been going to him for many years. He is the one that conducts my annual physical for me. Dr. Erin Schoor is my dermatologist and is very friendly, helpful, and informative. Dr. Bagga is my cardiologist and I credit him for saving my life.

He is lovely. He is very good. He is super. His office means a lot to me. He is in the cardiology department at Huntington Medical Group. I like his level of care. I like his openness to give me as much as information as I want or need; to talk to or answer any questions. His bedside manner is very lovely because he has done 2 scans for me at the end of 2006. Since then I have been under his treatment. He watches my medication and we have recently changed a few things in medication. He also gives me the reasons why the medication has been changed; for example, I was just taken off Plavix, a blood thinner. Initially he kept me on for 3 years while a lot of cardiologist would take the patient off after 1 year. The reason he gave me was the research recommends that I stay on a little longer because of the risk involved. His better judgment was just to be on it a little longer. When I saw him a few weeks ago he told me that I can come of it because the risk associated with taking it is the same as the risk associated with not taking it. He is thorough and he is really keeping up with medicine entering his field. He schedules me a few followup visits for heart patients. I came across him when I was having chest pains back in November of 2006. He happen to be coming on his shift when I was waiting at the Huntington Medical Group and that is how I met him. I liked him a lot from the start. He was very thorough and he answered all the questions. My husband actually took me in. He just sat there and answered every single question while he was pushing me and rushing me to the operating room. He told me feel free to call him at anytime. I called him and spoke to him. I like that in a doctor. I don’t like doctors who keep secrets who think that they will tell me as much as which is good for me. He is very gentle and he is very caring. He would tell me that he is about to inject and that I would feel a little cold running through my vein but nothing to worry about. I like that in a doctor. He was telling me every step of the way. He is a busy doctor. If I call him, he would call me back when he has time usually at the end of his day. I have called him for my appointments. It’s apart of group practice and there are lots of people. They are fine. The staff is okay. From the office they do call leaving an automated message and human being calls to get through appointments. So that is good. I am doing very well. There were some problems with billing.

She is only in the office two days a week, but is worth the wait.  She does a thorough exam, takes the time to see how you are doing and if you have any concerns you want to discuss.  I never feel rushed and the wait is usually minimal.

.He is fabulous.  Dr. Steve is so amazing with kids.  I actually had an issue with my doctor and he even called me when he was not on call.  So they asked his covering doctor to please advise him on what was going on.  My daughter was hospitalized and he was so concerned that he actually called me to make sure of what was going on.  He put me in the right direction because my daughter ended up needing some surgery and if it wasn’t for his expertise and him being so diligent, I would have probably not gotten this problem corrected.  He is always available whenever I need him.  I don't have a problem getting appointments.  He is smart, I trust him, my daughter really likes him, and I think he is a really good diagnostician.

He was terrific with her and he was very thorough.  He informed me of a couple of things that I was unaware of.  I was really happy with him.  I have to followup with him in 2 weeks.  It was a good thing that he got to see her.  His staff on the other hand it's just like most businesses or restaurants that you go to; they don’t care and they don’t want to be bothered.  So my daughter was sitting in the waiting room crying her eyes out and they just kept ignoring me until finally a young girl receptionist in the back said that’s it.  She couldn’t listen to this poor kid anymore and she went in and said something to the doctor. The doctor said it was no problem.  She did her hearing test, and let the doctor examine her.  He was very nice; he was really professional, and very pleasant.  He connected well with kids.  That made me really happy, but at the end of my visit I told him that it's just a shame that his staff wasn’t as kind as he was because I wanted to walk out of there.  I liked the doctor, but I wasn’t happy with the staff.

I have Medicare and they basically service us very well

I would recommend him to my friends and family.  I have been going to him for years.

My overall experience was good. The billing and administration was only fair because they were having trouble with their computers.

We have been consulting them for 15 years. The doctors are very caring and do a good job. We like them and will continue to use the same in future.
