Greenstar Renovations

We had a bad experience with GreenStar Renovations and Peter OBrien and had to go to court to obtain a judgment against them. We would not recommend them.

Hired Greenstar to excavate about 35â  of foundation wall to repair with hydraulic cement and re-tar with a membrane to prevent water from seeping thru our wall in the basement.

Peter and his guys did a great job, very pleased with the end result, pricing was very affordable!!

Pete Oâ Brien is. man of his word. He was competitively priced, did great work and followed through on every promise. Not easy to find contractors like that nowadays. Strongly recommend Greenstar/Pete Oâ Brien !!!!!!

Peter is an all-around professional guy. He honest, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and fair. Never once did I feel like I had any doubt in my project as he patiently addressed any concerns I may have had. What started out as a kitchen remodel snowballed into several additional projects such as a bathroom project, new floors, railing, etc. The guys that work with him too are skilled and versatile but also respectful of your home. They were in my house for roughly 2-3 months but not one day did they ever leave a mess. I would hire Peter again for a future project in a heart beat. Overall his work was fantastic and for the price you get a great value. I would surely and highly recommend him.

Peter and his team are terrific. Professional, honest and do high quality work. I will be hiring them again for a range on construction work; finishing the basement, mud room etc. Highly recommend.

Peter was a pleasure to work with! He was knowledgeable, trustworthy, courteous and conscientious. He offered an array of choices, provided thoughtful suggestions and did not apply any pressure while we weighed our options. He (and his team) completed the job quickly, skillfully and at a fair priceâ ¦ and offered to return to the project should any issue arise. The newly installed countertops & sink greatly improve the look of our kitchen. We are extremely happy with the finished product and hope to work with Peter again in the near future.

Bathroom came out great! High quality workmanship, clean and tidy and very professional, Peter knows what heâ s doing.

Peter and his team are incredible. Peter renovated my basement, built me a beautiful closet, closet doors he did himself because the size was custom, put up new walls, flooring, electric. His work is creative, meticulous and he is reasonable, reliable and most of all always helpful and friendly. I continue to hire him and recommend him to everyone I know.

Peter and his team are the consummate professionals. Absolutely excellent attention to detail, obviously very experienced in all aspects of construction. Courteous , friendly , FUN and finds a solution to all the little things that come up during all projects in the home. I have passed his info on to many people because he is fair, honest, and really does incredible work ! I will hire him again in a second for my next project after the holidays . It s rare to find a company and an owner whom takes pride in his work and won t stop till everything is right! Very very impressive!

Peter was extremely easy to work with and presented an array of options for completing the job. They arrived on time and made it a point to clean up at the end of each day. There were no issues with me working from home while the renovation was being done. I've already recommended Greenstar to my sister-in-law and would do so for anyone looking to have work done on their homes.

it took awhile as they had to go back and get some things but the product was excellent and peter o'brien from huntington station long island and his colleague were very personable and professional. i may have them come back and do more work for me.

Exceeded expectations doing some unplanned work that I asked for during the deck build. Despite challenging weather and the extra work requested by me, Peter and his team stuck pretty close to the planned schedule. Quality of work was excellent and pricing was very reasonable. Good group of guys.

Peter and his crew were great! Originally hired to replace our deck. The workmanship and attention to detail were impeccable. While we had him here for the deck he ended up fixing and creating new improvements on other parts of the house. . Price is very fair and honest! I really want to keep him a secret but that wouldnâ t be fair to them. We cannot say enough good things about the work and the communication. Peter is honest and respectful. He didnâ t inflate or down play any aspect of the projects. He listened to what we wanted asked intelligent questions and gave us great feedback. This company took the time to give us options in rebuilding our deck and quotes for each version. Peter is very patient and prompt when communicating. Once our decisions were made, building of the deck was quick and clean. Pleasure to work with and can t wait for our next project!

Peter took the time to explain to us what the project would entail and all of our options when it came to replacing our basement windows and door. His quote was very fair and his work was very clean and done in a timely manner. He is a pleasure to work with and we have already used his expertise again!

The job also included installing a backsplash which turned out beautiful. Everyone who sees it loves it. Peter and his staff were easy to have in the house, friendly, quiet and respectful.They completed the work quickly as well. I would definitely recommend them.

We hired Greenstar Renovations (Peter O Brien) to renovate our first floor which consisted of destruction of the old kitchen, installation of the new kitchen (including plumbing), painting, installation of lighting, baseboard, casement, and crown moulding, installation of a back splash and a new front door. Peter was our General Contractor and helped us purchase the perfect countertop and make selections for other things as well. As GC, he was both onsite and enlisted two tradesmen who were wonderful. Peter has an eye for detail, is very professional yet very approachable. He guides you through the process, offering his opinion without trying to sell. We valued his opinion and so happy we did. The end result is absolutely beautiful. We found his pricing very reasonable and would definitely recommend him for any renovation. We look forward to working with Greenstar when we do our next project.

We recently had Greenstar Renovations reconstruct our master bathroom. We are extremely satisfied with the whole process and outcome. Our master bathroom came out gorgeous! They did such great work on every detail. They were on time, very neat, and extremely efficient. We were so impressed with them we had them do our basement ceiling too. They were a pleasure to work with and would definitely have them back to do future projects in our home. We high recommend this company.

My kitchen remodel went smoothly. Great Renovations met all my expectations and beyond. Great craftsmanship, very responsive and professional throughout the project. We dealt directly with the owner which made our communication very smooth. I will definitely called them back for my next project.

Peter was amazing. He removed and put up new cabinets in a half day. He recommended another company he uses for granite countertops and they can the next day and installed It. The countertop was beautiful. Peter was very professional easy to get a hold of and also came back after the countertop was put in to hook up the sink. I would highly recommended Peter is work is perfect and I had to make him leave he wouldn t stop making sure everything was perfect and it was. Would definitely refer him to my friends, family and also use him again. Can go wrong with his company .
