Called late on a Friday afternoon, the crew came on Saturday morning as agreed. They were professional and efficient and communicative, replacing the old pump and ±280 feet of water line, and sanitizing the well (iron bacteria).

We had them install the switch and we are very pleased.

They came out and they did some diagnostics, but basically the problem wasn't solved. We ended up calling someone else and getting the problem fixed so there really wasn't much benefit to them being there. There was no resolution to my problem. They changed the filter, which was helpful, but we ended up determining on our own that it was our pressure tank. We ended up buying a pressure tank, replacing it and that completely fixed it. We even asked them if it was the pressure tank and they said we could fix it, but it was a problem that never got fixed. It was very inconclusive.

Mid Hudson Pump are clearly experts in all things well-related. They asked all the right questions, helped us understand what was going on and quickly resolved the issue. Friendly and professional service technicians arrived in less than 24 hours even though it was late on a Friday. The owner/manager was friendly, confident and knowledgeable on the phone. Another company insisted we needed to replace the pump and storage tank at an estimated $8,000 cost. Mid Hudson found a frayed wire and charged us less than $600. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone with a well issue in the Hudson Valley. Honest, high integrity, value for money and experts in their field.

On Jan 1, 2014 (Wed) we had water gushing through the wall of the basement at the water line's entrance. We called and left a message. Mon. AM they returned the call and sent someone to look at it around 11:30 AM. They were unable or unwilling to repair the situation at that time. The following day had a large snowstorm forecast, so they said they would return on Sat. the 4th. Sat the 4th they called and said the backhoe wouldn't start, so they scheduled for Mon. Since I didn't know if their backhoe wold start then, I started calling friends. They showed up Sun at 9 AM and repaired the leaking pipe. I sent mid-hudson pump the bill , but haven't heard from them yet. I would really like the 55+ yr old pipe replaced from the casing all the way into the basement. I can't believe they hooked up a new pump and line to 55+ yr old one.

Mea Culpa ! I heard from Mid Hudson pump today! They have offered to come in the spring and replace the line at no cost to me. So I am taking back everything I said about them until after it's finally resolved. There was bithing in my report that was untrue, but the resolution they proposed is exactly what I had hoped for. I am very pleasantly surprised that they are doing this. They most certianly are a very reputable company.

Came in on same day we called them - work started around 4pm and was completed by 6:30pm. Problem was diagnosed
quickly. Pulled pump and pipe from 425 ft deep well to replace check valves. Overall very satisfied with their workmanship.

They arrived on time and got right to work. Found the problem and fixed it. They had to work in a very confined space. They were very professional and nice.
