We've had RCE out for a variety of projects. They do quality work, the employees are the best at what they do and they're reasonably priced. In addition to our entry they've done the following: siding new roof (complete tear off ) We won't hire anybody else.

Very well. Terry and his crew replaced the old windows with (5) Andersen 400 series windows. Extremely pleased with the outcome!

This was a large and somewhat difficult Hardy singing and trim job for an addition that had to match up with existing structure. They were able handle several changes and add-ons. Responsiveness and quality of work was excellent. Workers took great care to do a good job and clean up was impeccable.

I had gotten a quote from RC Exteriors for a new tear off roof two years ago and unfortunately did not go with them. I went with another contractor and they were a DISASTER! Terry LaRue and his son are great. They start when they say they will. They call with updates on your project. Their Carpenter is a great guy. It was all good.

We first used Rochester Custom Exteriors for some siding work, and they did such a good job on that occasion that we called them for this most recent work. As usual, they did a quality job, they cleaned up very well, and they worked us into their schedule quickly which we appreciated since the work needed to be done as soon as possible.

They went out of their way to make the house look great. Their people are professional and polite. I could not believe that I never heard a swear word from the workers throughout their 2 weeks on the job.
They found some structural problems while siding the rear of the house and immediately did a major repair. I was amazed to find that I was not charged for this extra work.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting a first rate job.

I like everything about them. The quote process went very well. The owner of the company was the one who came. He was very professional and very accommodating. I find him easy to work with. He discussed how to do it and gave me a number of options. I feel very comfortable that they would do a great job.

The siding was not caulked well, they damaged the stucco on front part of the house and the gutters were not installed well and continue to leak. I had thought I would ask them to come and give me an estimate for re-roofing the front part of my house last year. When I called them they refused to do the work. I had Besroi quote and do the work and it was excellent. They installed additional downspouts to help with the back gutters and I have not had as many problems since they were installed. Rochester Custom Exteriors was terrible and I would not recommend them to anyone. It took months for them to come and repair the stucco they damaged and the siding is still not caulked properly.

"Three years ago we installed siding and roofing, working through a prime contractor that was responsible for this customer's addition project. Final caulking and painting was the responsibility of the contractor's painter. The damaged stucco was not our responsibility as the prime contractor's dumpster delivery caused the damage. We completed the job during the winter while there was snow on the ground and I have no idea what the contractor did for a final cleanup from his work. I was never aware there were any problems with the work until now. The only time I was contacted by anyone was when she called and asked if I would do some additional work for her. I explained she would need to either work with the prime contractor that brought me on the job or get his approval for me to do the work. I did contact the prime contractor who said she never called him. This woman's statements are completely false."

The project was started on October 14th and completed on October 29th. They arrived about 7:30 every morning and worked until about 4:00 PM with few breaks. Terry LaRue, the owner, has a crew of poeple that do the windows and doors, and one that does the siding.
The windows and doors were replaced first and nicely trimmed on the inside. Then, the siding crew removed the old siding, wrapped the house with Tyvek and installed the trim and siding.
They clean up at the end of the day and at the end of the project.
Their workmanship is excellent. I would definitely use them again for any siding or window replacement.

This is a fantastic contractor. He may not be the cheapest but he is the best. When he went to side the dining room he found a lot of rot in one of the corners. he brought in his crew, rebuilt the area and never charged me for the extra work. His roofing crew was very professional. My wife could not believe that she never heard a cuss word from any of his men for the several weeks that they were here. He delivered more than he estimated and did not charge me more. In fact he saved me money showing me where ideas that I had were to expensive. He accomplished those ideas in a different way with less money.

Most professional people I have ever dealt with. Top quality workmanship, (the sheet metal guy is an artist), nice people (never a cuss word, always respectful), cleaned up beautifully. Not the lowest price but all of his referrals will tell you the same.:Terry's quality is worth the extra few percent.

Very well. It started (at my request) by investigating the buckle in a section of the walkway (while they were doing another job). Once into it, it was clear that time and moisture had taken its toll (it was rotting). It would be cheaper to take the entire structure down now that to rebuild it one section at a time over time. After discussing all the various options (they had alot of good suggestions to improve the strength of the construction while maintaining the unusual design (done by an architect in the '80s), we agreed on the course/scope of work (and the price). We are very pleased with the results (it looks better than the original as there are no seams/butts in the floor planks [on the diagonal]). This was money that was well invested.
