HOUSE DOCTORS HANDYMAN SVC

These guys are a DREAM. Seriously! I called them expecting not to be able to get a quote for days, but they came out to my house just a few hours after I called. The man I spoke with on the phone was SO nice, and very reasonable. A different man (Sam) came to my house to actually perform the work, and he did everything he could to make the repairs as reasonably as he could. I was sure the track would need to be replaced, given how bent it was, and he easily could have sold me that service - but instead he insisted on trying to bend it back into shape with a crow bar first, to try to keep costs reasonable. He was actually able to do that, and the door now functions just fine! I was amazed! Even more amazing, however, was the fact that he didn't charge me a dime for the visit. How often does THAT happen anymore? Seems like everyone wants to charge you like $100 just to come LOOK at things most of the time nowadays. Anyway, after Sam had made the door functional again, he worked up a quote for replacement of the track (because that will need to be done eventually - though now it's a "when we want to" thing rather than an emergent thing). He called around until he felt he had found the lowest possible price for parts, too, which was wonderful of him. Additionally, Sam mentioned as he was leaving that he is an electrician and a master plumber, and if I named it, he could do it. He mentioned having another very skilled contractor as a co-worker as well, which was great to hear. Sam was very friendly and professional, and I absolutely will not hesitate to call this company again whenever I need work done around my house. My husband travels a lot for work, so I can't tell you what a relief it is knowing that an honest, reliable handyman service is just a phone call away whenever I need them! If there were a rating higher than "A" they would get it from me. Thank you so much, House Doctors!!
