He was in a big hurry during the install and did the install with the help of 3 other people.  We have 1/2 and 1/4 inch openings between the wall and the granite.  He calls the install "professional", other contractors who have seen the work call it "unbelievable" and "shoddy".  The salesman when questioned informed me the company was licensed and insured, however, it was admitted on line that they are not.  They have not contacted me nor have they accepted my certified letter which I sent to help reconcile this matter.  There are only two solutions..remove the existing granite and re-install new or put in a backsplash neither of which they are willing to do.  Be sure not to give them your money..you may be satisfied but I'm unconvinced they can do a professional job.
