CHEAP SAM'S PLANT BARGAINS

We bought 19 emerald arborvitae, 2 green giants, some small bushes and an ornamental tree. We went to Cheap Sam's because of the large inventory they have and selection. We also thought that a nursery like this would have better quality product than a big "box store" like Home Depot. We couldn't have been more wrong! After paying Cheap Sam's to deliver and plant these bushes, nearly all of the emerald arborvitaes are dead or dying. We contacted Cheap Sam's to give them the opportunity to rectify the situation. We certainly didn't' expect a refund, just a discount to replace the dead bushes. The response we got was incredibly disappointing. Not only where they not willing to give a discount to replace the subpar product/planting, they had the audacity to suggest that we come back during their end of season sale to replace them at their "sale" price. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Cheap Sam's, neither will any of our neighbors, coworkers, or friends. A company that sells a product, plants it, and takes NO responsibility for 90% mortality rate is completely unconscionable.
