Ed worked hard. We intended to fix the sagging siding on a porch ceiling. The project became bigger when the siding taken down, because the plywood was old and bad. Ed was fair on the price added. Nice guy.

Had a great experience dealing with Ed from Renew It. He came out quickly to give me an estimate and then kept in touch with me after booking with him. He was available when I needed the work done and it was done quickly. He did a great job with the whole project. Painting walls, cathedral ceiling, stair backs and polyurethane on a new closet door and moldings. It looks beautiful. I will definitely be using Ed again for future projects.

Ed responded promptly to my inquiry, promptly visited my home and gave me a reasonably priced estimate for the repair job. He did an excellent job of repairing my ceiling drywall. I have now hired him to paint the inside of my house also. So far doing an excellent job. I recommend Renew-It. No need to look any further.

RENEW-IT, Ed and his crew did a great job of replacing the deck boards on our 16x20 deck and steps. They were right on spot in all that was needed to be done. We are very pleased and would use RENEW-IT for any other work that is needed for our house.

Renew-It promptly responded to my query and gave me a breakdown of the work I needed (sheetrock, painting, electrical work and tiling). They were available to start work within the week, did a great job, helped me with my needs and did a good cleanup job when done. He did a good job with repairing my deck. But, the other work he did for me like painting was horrible. He painted the wrong color and painted the molding the same color as the wall.

I hired Ed from Renew-It to hang drapes and install blinds. He was pleasant, mature, and knowledgeable. I then hired Ed to install a new kitchen floor that I has ordered. He helped me out tremendously, since the contractor I initially hired could not meet my deadline as promised. Ed not only accommodated me and installed the new floor before the holidays (Dec 2014) but his price was a few dollars cheaper. Ed is currently painting some rooms in my house, he and his crew are neat and meticulous. I would commend Renew-It of Long Island!

My fence is so beautiful I rather be outside looking at it all the time. The price was really reasonable it was perfect what we could afford. With that price we received a beautiful design and great materials. Clean up after the project was amazing there was nothing left behind it was as if they were not there doing work. We are so please with this project hat we will using them for other projects.

We hired Ed from Renew-it to paint our medium-sized master bedroom with tall ceilings, install crown molding and install doors. Well, we got as far as him painting our bedroom before we had enough. His craftsmanship is appalling; not to mention he works really slow. It should take a total of 2-3 days to complete this type of job but he was here a total of 6 times. The bedroom needed spackling, paint, and some taping. He had seen the room twice and we discussed everything before he even started the job. We had removed a closet that needed taping and spackling because we were installing modular closet system in its place. Another repair job was this cross section of tape on one wall which had been peeling off. My husband had already started it and it just needed one more coat of spackle and smoothing. At the peak of the vaulted ceiling had tape that was peeling off and needed to be repaired. That was our biggest reasoning for hiring a painter in the first place and we pointed this out to him more than once to which all he said "no problem". Anyone who has painted or has had painters knows the basic fundamentals; prep and don't paint over wet spackle. The 3rd day he was here to start the job, every wall but the ceiling had been quickly painted which means nothing was prepped. At the end of that day, the wall with the cross section of tape was painted. After inspection of the wall it looked as if it was never smoothed out and it was a huge eyesore as it could be seen when entering the bedroom. We also pointed out several small holes on various walls that needed spackling that were painted over and his answer was to spackle them quick and throw paint on over the wet spackle. Now I have two big visible circles of paint on my wall as well as rough walls and still some small holes everywhere. The 4th time he was supposed to come over he never showed up. A weekend later he came back and we asked him to fix the cross section. He was here for an hour and threw more spackle over the cross section and then smoothed out the closet area. On the 5th day he smoothed the closet out more and painted the ceiling and only there an hour. The closet was then our next huge problem. My husband had asked him to paint six inches inches into the closet section. He painted over his unsmoothed spackle job. Then the next problem, the tape peeling from the ceiling. He thought the best solution would be to throw spackle over already peeling tape instead of removing the tape and re-taping. Again, the fundamentals are lost here. You never spackle over peeling tape because it's already cracking apart. We even used the words when explaining this job that it needed to be RE-TAPED. The best part of this was when he showed up the 6th day to repair the cross and we had a whole new set of problems to address yet again. I had said we weren't happy with some areas and pointed out the problems and his response to this was to flat out deny, make excuses and make no compromise on hi
