Lou renovated my kitchen last year and I was completely satisfied. I called him back this summer to gut and remodel my bathroom. He was extremely considerate, and he treated my house as if it were his own. My house is small, and I only have one bathroom. The project took nine days. I was anticipating that there would be a big mess and a huge inconvenience. But even the demo was done very neatly and efficiently. Lou even took the time to re-connect the toilet each night so that I wouldn't be left without. Lou did an amazing job, and it was a pleasure working with him. Over the past year, we interviewed a number of bathroom remodelers but had difficulty finding the one we wanted to work with. Then we met Louie from Kitchen and Bath Works, Inc. (Holbrook, NY) and we knew instantly that he was the one for us. We loved his easy going nature, his many years of experience, his ability to answer our tough questions, his no pressure demeanor, his dog friendliness, and his honesty. He also made us laugh, which is always a plus. What really stood out was his willingness to let me pick out and purchase all the components on my own – wall tile, floor tile, shower floor tile, and the plumbing. That saved us money and enabled us to customize the look exactly the way we wanted. The other remodelers we talked to tried to steer us into buying exclusively from their affiliated bath product retailers which turned us off. Except for the glass shower door which we had to wait for because it came from a separate vendor, the entire project was completed in 9 days. The results are simply stunning. I wanted a rustic Montana-style bathroom and Louie made my dream a reality. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a beautiful bathroom with so much functionality. Louie was a breeze to work with and we really appreciated his reliability and promptness each and every day. Today I used the new shower for the first time and it was amazing. I don’t think I could be any happier with the outcome. A big thank you to Louie and the team of experts he brought in to assist. This was the third project performed by Lou Puleo from Kitchen and Bath Works. Just as pleased this time as with the previous jobs. The professionalism and attention to detail was top notch. Total gut and remodel of master bath was completed on schedule and within cost estimate. Lou arrived each day on time and left the job site spotless. Tile work and attention to detail was top notch. Lou is a true craftsman...honest, knowledgeable, highly experienced and very well organized. He was patient and helpful during the design phase, when I asked so many questions and kept revising the plan. It took a few months for the cabinet order to arrive. Lou was very diligent about providing a target date and keeping me informed. On the delivery day, he came at 8AM and placed leveling blocks on the walls. The cabinets arrived and, by 10AM, Lou had already unpacked and installed the first row of wall cabinets. He works alone quietly and he is very neat and methodical. There was no music blasting, no cursing...he came in through the garage and never walked beyond my kitchen. He screens his phone calls so that he is not interrupted while he works. He is very responsive but, when he is working, he remains focused solely on that project without distraction. Lou brought in an electrician and fabricator who also did a very good job. Lou has a positive attitude. He clearly enjoys his work and he is determined to do a professional job. I am very happy with my new kitchen and I plan to hire Lou again to renovate my bathroom.

Everything went without a hitch. Lou remodeled my bathroom and it looks amazing. He first came in with his demolition crew who worked quickly, cleaned up, and carted away old materials. The plumber also did a great job and everything went smoothly there. Lou then started renovating the bathroom and was fantastic. He worked very hard and finished the job quickly. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him.

Lou was excellent from start to finish. Involved, explained, suggested and supported my wife and i, a couple of seniors, throughout the process that in 8 business days transformed our "old fashioned" 50 year old bathtub et al, into a modern shower and bathroom that we love. We had a total renovation down to the studs of 2-1/2 bathrooms that included vanities, fixtures, tiling, plumbing and electrical. I have to say. I interviewed 3 Contractors to do my Half bath. The contractor, Louis Puleo , performed all the work himself. The work was completed in a timely fashion and the job was superb. The job entailed removal of everything right down to the studs. He was extremely professional and neat. I would definitely have him again when I am ready to do my Master Bath. I absolutely recommend him.
