He was great to work with, pricing was in line with others and my husband and I both really liked his honesty.

They did a thorough inspection and provided an estimate for the external masonry, but pointed out that the flue we were going to get replaced only needed to be cleaned. They did need to put a new liner in a separate flue (for the heater). They provided a very reasonable price and encountered some challenges due to the age of the house. The changes did not alter the price of the job.

Everyone that I spoke to was very helpful, from scheduling my appointment with Yvonne to Mike coming out to putting in my chimney liner.

Everything went well. From booking the appointment to the technician coming out and doing the work. I was very well informed. They were on time, and the office called when the technician was on his way. I would definitely recommend them and have them do work for me in the future.

Ken was punctual, pleasant, courteous and left the area respectfully clean.  In addition to a chimney sweeping and some damper adjustment, he did a crown top repair, which was explained, and of which I was shown a before and after picture.  The office staff is pleasant and accomodating. 

Things went smoothly from estimate to project completion. The chimney and all of the flues required a thorough clean-out and new liners. Mike, the senior chimney cleaner/mason, explained the work required in detail. He showed me, and took photos of, the debris inside the furnace/hot water heater flue as well as the main fireplace flue. He took before and after pix of the chimney crown and the repairs required. The new liners and caps appeared to be good quality. This is an expensive project, although this estimate was more competitive than other A-List Cleaners. Mike's willingness to communicate clearly and directly before, during and after the job was essential for me. I can use the fireplace again. The heaters run more efficiently. Before and after pix of the chimney and flues are now part of my homeowner's maintenance records.
