PETTIS POOLS & PATIO

Pettis damaged our pool and liner by not closing the pool correctly, this was verified by the pool company that closes our pool now. When I had Pettis come out to take a look they denied everything and didn’t take accountability. If you love your pool don’t hire Pettis. The guys who came out were unprofessional and yelled at me when I wasn’t accepting their denials of wrong doing.

Last year we had purchased the pool and paid for the install. The install company was very good and punctual. The pool was good quality however we didn't receive everything we paid for. I called repeated last year they kept saying its on back order. ok, i will work with them on it due to covid. This year I returned to order a heater and while I was there I started asking questions about my solar cover from last year the guy that was helping me became upset that I wanted to know when I would receive it. Mind you I paid for this last year. I give everyone the benefit of grace i suggest I complete the sale of my heater with someone else I pay half up front and requested the date of install. after some discussion finally got the date. its now 3 days before my install they call to have me make payment on the rest of the install for the heater mind you hasn't happened. I ask about my solar cover and when I was receive it still no date. so they want me to pay for services that have not be rendered and you still have not fulfilled on previous orders. Take my advice go elsewhere

This was a straightforward job: cut the return lines coming out of our pool filter and connect in a heat pump. The pump came fully assembled, so the only other tasks were to set up the pump on our lawn on a small platform and to cut holes in the shed where the pump is for the water lines. They could not test the heater at the time because the electric work was to be done by someone else later.
Although I like this company in many ways, they have a tendency to send people out to do estimates who do not take any notes on the particulars of what we want done. In a previous year it was where to install steps in the pool (we narrowly averted disaster by happening to call just before it was too late to change the plans). This time, it was where we decided to place the heater. The folks who came to install it had no idea where to put it, even though the person who wrote the estimate spent a lot of time discussing pros and cons before making a final decision with us.
In addition, the service department was in a bit of an upheaval during this time period. The service coordinator with whom we had always dealt up and left in frustration one day, but we continued to email her at work not knowing she was no longer there. We finally called and got hold of her (temporary?) replacement and apparently the work orders were in disarray. As a result we had to wait almost an extra week until the installation actually happened. Hopefully things have settled down now and you'll have fewer surprises if you use them!
By the way, because we bought a heat pump we were given a free pool opening. That's worth a couple hundred bucks.

I spent about $7500 for them to provide the pool and do installation. They told me what they were going to do and they were very professional. All the people who I dealt with was extremely professional and I got the impression that they liked their job which is very good for a small business.

Pettis pools did an excelent job on the instalation of our liner,We have been Pettis pool customers for over 30 years ,and they have never let us down.The Quality starts with the expert advise given by Pettis and thare staff,to the completion of the job. I'am sure they will be able to satisfy even the most difficult customers.

I am pleased with Petti Pools. I have also had them for years. I trust the work they do. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
