Magic Seal has sealed several driveways of all types in my neighborhood. The driveways were all relatively close in size and cost to complete the job were within a few dollars of each other and quality was generally good. The cost of mine was 1.5 times the others and when I called and spoke to the service manager to understand why there was such a significant price difference I was told it was because it was a new driveway. Made sense and as I asked a few more questions I was rudely cut off and was told it is what it is and that could have used someone else. Sure won’t get my vote for a super service award.

They did a very good job and I would hire them again.

They do a nice job. I am part of an HOA so several of us on the street had our driveways sealed the same day. Their people are nice, they were very neat given the nature of the work, and our driveways look great. Price was very reasonable. We have used them in the past and have had no problems so we keep going back.

We were getting to list our house for sell. We had a tight time frame we needed met. When explaining this to Magic Seal, and asking them if they could fill our potholes in our driveway within the next 2 weeks, they fit me into their schedule that same day since they were already in the neighborhood. In less than half an hour, they had the work completed. I appreciated that the sales person, Kody, educated me on the different options of how the job could be completed. He also was very reasonable on price since we had multiple potholes to repair.

They showed up (with no prior warning) on the day that they rescheduled my original appt. They were fast & efficient, however I wasn't too pleased at the way they treated the cracks in my driveway.

i dont think the company checked the weather before the driveway was sealed, but according to sealers it takes two hours for the sealer to dry, it was on the cold side that day. the sealer was down about 3 to 4 hours when it started raining. when my husband came home he said what happened to the house, the garage door, the entry door the chimney, the bottom layer of shingles all covered in sealer, the sealer ran off the driveway into my sidewalk and grass. so driveway is now all patchy, some sealed some not. called company left message for call back, no call back that day or next day. i called again the supervisor said that they would send someone out to power wash areas, that didnt work all i got was a wet garage floor and the guys lunch bag to pick up. called again spoke to receptionist was told that someone would get back to me, that didnt happen again. so called again, now the answer to my problems is they cant do nothing, i could try painting it myself. so now i have to spend my money to paint the house! oh but they would come back and seal the driveway again, i dont think so.

Some of the cracks seem to be only partially filled, but I appreciate their willingness to perform this service.

They've done a good job with sealing my driveway, but are consistently raising the price every year for the same job.

They did a great job. We didn't have any problems. I'm sure they were here when they said. We called to get an estimate last year and it was too expensive.

We are very pleased with the recent paving work done by Magic Seal. Their crew was prompt and very courteous. They completed the work right on time and ended up under our budget! Overall, a very pleasant experience. I recommended them to my aunt and she's already called them to do her driveway too. Thanks for the great work!

I wrote an e-mail to the president of the company-Tina Baughman on Oct. 25,2016 as follows, and got no response from her. I did however get a call from Ron Stiles. On June 25, 2016 ˆreceived an estimate from Mike Segelin tomresurface my driveway and remove tree roots that were causing a problem. The estimate was for $3100.00 with a down pymt of $310.00 which I paid that day. I stated at that time that I did not want any water coming into my garage. On or about 8/1/16 Ron Stiles came to look at the driveway and said that the roots did not have to be removed, that he could just shave them down. He stated that if they took the roots out that the tree may fall or die. We agreed to what he recommended. O n 8/8/16 the company came and resurfaced the driveway -- it looked great --until it rained and the water came into the garage. We called Ron and he sent someone to look at the driveway. I believe he may have been the foreman on the job because he was here on the day of installation. He said he was sure it was alright at the time of install but he did not put a level on it and ask if he could borrow our level to check it. It was off by 1/4 inch. He stated that Ron was not going to be happy about this and I said that I was not happy either, especially when I told them i did not want water comming into my garage. He said they could fix the problem by heating up the asphalt in order to move it. When they did that, they created a dip in the asphalt that was supposed to drain the water off to the side and into my front garden. This is not acceptable. Ron came back, discussed a few options, like tearing out the whole drivewayor putting in a channel drain. He said it would cost about $1000. He also said he did not want it to cost him anything. He said that he would "FLUFF" another job. I think we are the ones being 'FLUFFED'. He came back with a price of $1500.00. This is not acceptable because the problem was caused by this company and should be remedied by this company. I did not have water coming into my garage before they resurfaced my driveway and I should not have it now.

Between the estimate and the actual repair, I was very pleased with everyone I spoke with. It turned out the day they were going to tear out my old driveway and put down the initial base, I was out of town. The crew showed up on time and did a great job in removing the old driveway and putting down the base coat. The same crew came back a few weeks later to put down the top asphalt coat. I was impressed to see how quickly and nice the final coat turned out. I am very pleased with how my new driveway looks.

On my first call they quoted a price and scheduled an appointment for the following week. They did a fantastic job. Arrived as scheduled and did a perfect edge along the cement apron leading into the garage. The final price was as quoted. Two thumbs up.

In April, I called the company to verify that I am on the list, which they confirmed. However, they could not give me a firm timeline as to when the job would be completed, as it was still relatively early in the season and they were still waiting for final counts to map out their job routes when it was time. Representative (female - don't know her name) said they would call me back when the time was appropriate, but this never happened. Imagine my surprise when I came back from work one day this summer and saw that my neighbor across the street had his driveway sealed with Magic Seal's cones at the end of the driveway. They were right in my neighborhood, but completely skipped my house. The service guys were very professional, polite, and did an amazing job when they sealed our driveway in 2015, which is the reason I decided to go with them again, but what's the point if you don't even know who your repeat customers are on the wait list and are so disorganized that you are losing customers due to your own mismanagement? Magic Seal has lost me as a long-time customer. I decided to go with another company who did an equally amazing job for $10 less. They will be my go-to sealcoating company from now on.

After the driveway repave, it has developed a crack.  My 6 phone call messages went unreturned until one where an appointment was made. I waited all day and no one showed up. He called to say he was too busy and would come the next day. He never showed and no one has called.  This company has nonexistent customer service after a job has been completed.

Great! Showed up as expected, did a very neat job. I've been using this company for years and they have always done a good job.

Started with preparation and cleaning.  Next they applied sealer to driveway and placed markers to prevent any use for at least 24 hours.  The worked performed started around 8:30 a.m. and completed in about 1/2 hour.  There was no spills or leaks on sidewalks and the driveway looks great.  A small problem was discussed with Magic seal a day later and was resolved immediately.   I would recommend them to family and friends.

Except for a little glitch in confirming our sealing appointment, everything went very well. The crew showed up in a timely manner and got the job done quickly and efficiently. I was impressed with the way they controlled the liquid with their spreaders and did not splash on any structures nearby.

I really enjoyed working with Magic Seal. When I first scheduled the appointment, the woman told me there were two cost estimates, based on whether the service had ever been done or if the driveway was newer (we just moved in, so I wasn't sure). Both estimates were reasonable, but I thought for sure they would automatically charge me for the higher cost version - nope! They said my driveway didn't need the second coat and charged me for the lower estimate. They're honest, timely, and the quality was spot on. A great experience.
