 + -1 moreWe contacted David Recine, the owner of this business, 1 week in advance as to the cancelation of our daughter's wedding due to unforeseen personal circumstances. He said he would consider a refund and get back to us in a few days. After 9 days he still had not contacted us. I went to his business establishment and attempted to negotiate a reasonable and equitable settlement/refund. He is entitiled to be paid for his 2 hour consult time and lost profit which would be more than generous at a $1900.00 payment. The $1600.00 difference would be a reasonable refund to us in light of him not incurring any lost product cost, labor cost, creative build cost, travel cost and site-set-up costs. Recine is attempting to unfairly, excessively profit off of our personal misfortune. His business practice is predatory, unprofessional, unethical and illegal. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the New York State Department of Consume Affairs and we will be suing him in Small Claims Court. Let The Buyer Beware. Kevin D. Monroe, NY
Description of Work: Refused to provide any refund for services and goods not provided for my daughter's wedding. David Recine, the owner, was provided 1 week cancelation notice as to my daughter's wedding. His business practice is predatory, unprofessional, unethical and illegal. Recine admittedly incurred no flower cost, no labor cost ( other than a 2 hour consult), no travel cost, no site set-up cost and is attempting to profit excessively at our expense and personal misfortune.
