I would recommend them to anybody. I have been using him a lot because she was pretty sick up until the end. She kept her at least comfortable until the end. He told me in advance that it was terminal, but he did a lot of stuff to keep her up where until the end she would still go for a walk with us and sleep with us, and eat with us. He said it was fine. The dog was 13 years old and we had dealt with Island Trees Veterinary Hospital for 13 years, if not longer because I had other animals prior to her. He's the most caring vet I've ever seen. He's terrific. The price was reasonable. It was fine. Everything the guy did, he went out of his way to help me and my pet. His staff was extremely helpful also.

The staff is always courteous and friendly. The doctor that saw my dog is very professional. Any questions that I ask are answered and great concern is always given to any problems that my dog might be having. All surgeries, tests and examinations are done with skill and compassion. 

I would recommend this Veterinary clinic to anyone who wants the best for there pets.

I've been using them for 8 years or longer. Dr. Caran is the doctor and he is very good. I have recommended them to a couple of people. It is a nice facility and the doctors are nice. They call me back if I call them with a question. They are great to my pet.

I initally got my dog from a kennel and found him to be sick with kennel cough. I took him here and the x-rays showed that my dogs lungs were black. This place nursed him back to health and literally saved my dog's life. I can't say enough good things about this place and the doctor is Their price is very competitive. If your pet needs a surgery they will work with you on the price and a payment plan. They are all very compassionate and love animals.

HUGE RIP OFF and NOT PROFESSIONAL - ONLY looking to make MONEYI brought my dog in to this vet for the first time.. she is a puppy and had an eye infection. i asked them to do an exam of her eyes as well as a regular office visit. the first doctor - Caren saw my dog and was very abrupt, didnt introduce himself to me , just walked in and looked at my dogs eyes. to make a long story short, my dog was not examined completely - just her eyes, (and i got drops for her that i told them i could not administer on my own but the vet said i would figure it out") .. anyway, i was charged around $150 for this visit. NO exam.. just looked at her eyes.. did not touch the rest of her bodyso.. i brought her home and .. as i told the vet,. i could not administer these drops alone , while my husband was away. you would think the vet would mention to me that the techs could do it (FOR A FEE of course) but he didnt so i struggled for two days with the dog, until i called them and asked if they could help me. i have to say,. the ONLY reason i rated them a C for professionalism is because of the vet techs and the front desk - the techs are GREAT and caring and the front desk are OK ..anyway......i was told to bring my dog for a "re-check" of her eyes.. this was supposed to be FREE.. i bring her back in seven days and ask the next vet who saw her, Dr Gottlieb, to please write a note to clear her to get spayed --this was requested by north shore- i also brought a urine sample in to be tested because my dog had a day where she urinated more frequently than usual and i wanted to make sure she didnt have an infection before spaying. SO .. basically... the urinalysis was supposed to cost $35 - fine. i go to the desk and they say its another $100 to see dr. gottlieb today. i explain that NO this was just the RE-CHECK - the FREE re-check for her eyes and the %35 urinalysis... well.... this "Dr." tells me that the rest of the cost is "to walk through the door" and he said... plus, you asked me to write a letter.. so LETTERS that say "dog is clear for spaying" cost $65 at this placeit is a complete scam. NEITHER of these vets did a complete exam on my dog. THEY BARELY TOUCHED HER and it cost $250. if i knew that they were this bad , i would have NEVER gone there so i hope this review influences others. in the area, the east village green vets are good... and i have heard that levittown animal hospital as well as wantagh animal hospitals are s well. i wish i knew that before i got ripped off by these people.

They are very gentle with the pets. They seem to really enjoy being with animals. They don't rush you through. They answer your questions. They also offer boarding services if you want to board your pets. They also have animal grooming services but I have never used this service. I will use their services again in the future.

I love them very much and they do an excellent job with everything always. They are very wonderful. They take care of all the animals that come in (birds and everything). I do not remember the pricing, but I can tell you that prices for vets have sky rocketed over the years. Besides that, this vet is very caring and very kind. I have no complaints at all.

THE VETERINARY PROVIDES EXCELLENT SERVICES. I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON THEM TO DO A GOOD JOB. THE ATTENDANTS ARE WELL TRAINED AND ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE PROBLEMS CONCERNING CARE AND TREATMENT OF DOMESTIC PETS.

THE STAFF IS VERY GOOD WITH THE ANIMALS. THEY TREAT THE ANIMALS IN A GENTLE MANNER AND MAKE THEM FEEL COMFORTABLE. THE OFFICE STAFF IS ORGANIZED AND FRIENDLY. THEIR PRICES ARE HIGH, BUT SERVICE IS GREAT.

THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THE CARE GIVEN TO THE PETS IS EXCEPTIONAL. I HAVE USED THEM FOR FOUR YEARS AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES.

THEY DO CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS. WHILE YOU ARE WAITING TO SEE THE VETERINARIAN THEY WILL GIVE YOUR DOG BONES AND TOYS TO PLAY WITH. OCCASIONALLY THEY WILL WALK YOUR DOG IF WEATHER IS PERMITTING.

ISLAND TREES IS A VERY GOOD HOSPITAL. THEY TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY DOG AND MY DOG FEELS VERY COMFORTABLE IN THEIR CARE. THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL AND AMAZING WITH ANIMALS.

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH THAT I DO NOT MIND DRIVING A HALF HOUR TO GET THERE. EVERYONE IS SO CARING AND COMPASSIONATE WITH MY DOG. THE PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE FOR THE SHOTS, EXAM AND FLEA MEDICATION, OTHER PLACES CHARGE A LOT MORE FOR THE SAME THING.

I WAS SO IMPRESSED AND CALMED BY THE THOROUGH EXAM THAT THE VET PERFORMED WHEN MY DOG WAS HIT BY A CAR. I REALLY FELT THAT THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PAIN AND WERE AS CAREFUL AS POSSIBLE.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH HOW THEY HANDLED MY DOG. THE DOCTOR WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND CARING FOR MY DOG. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY VETERINARIAN SERVICES.

I HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED TO ME BY ISLAND TREES VETERINARY HOSPITAL. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY LOVING AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
