They're super professional, priced well, and most importantly, honest. and they got to my place an hour after I called them which was very fast, considering it was a Sunday.

this company is a complete scam. I called them for the annual service of my furnace. their tech showed up and proceeded to scope out the work for a complete system replacement ! And then he charged me $200 for the service when in fact he just looked around and didn't do any work. Groner(a guy named Jason Hagler) then ghosted me when I asked for a refund. I will file a complaint with Nassau County Consuer affairs and BBB. Stay away from this company !

Groner provided service for our central air unit for five years when we lived in our old house and two years in our new house. They always came within a few days of me calling and were able to fix any issue. I was always pleasant when they came and paid right away. There were never any issues. However when I called today for a service call in our new house, I was told that in their records in 2016 it indicated that our system was "lousy," we "don't have a good set up" and "our attic space is too tight" and that they would no longer be coming to our house. I told him that they had been to our house 2 times since they came initially in 2016 to fix minor issues and that this was never expressed to me. The owner was not at all apologetic on the phone and was in fact extremely rude about it. Who turns down business especially when you have a customer who is pleasant and always pays right away! At least be nice about it. We were planning on talking to the person who came for the service call about a new system to be installed this summer or next summer. I am obviously taking my business someplace else. I would have given them a B rating before this incident but this experience brought it down to a D because of the lack of professionalism. I have never written a bad review before this.

Installers arrived on time. Placed drop-cloths down wherever they would be walking in the house. Replacement was done on schedule and operation was fully explained. Very professional crew!

Groner responded quickly during a heat wave. The technician analyzed the problem and had it fixed in half an hour. The part we needed was on the truck.

Crew showed up on time and completed the job within 3 days as planned. Cleaned up each day. Guys were easy to work with and accommodated special requests related to Compressor location and storage space. Very happy with results. No issues. I would recommend.

Terrible. The first winter I had no heat for 2 1/2 days. They didn't return calls. I had to move out for 3 days. When they finally came they claimed a spider built a web inside the unit on the roof. Then in the summer I had no AC for over 2 days. Sal came without the proper ladder to get to the roof. Blamed it on my condo not having proper access to the roof. So I paid $10,000 and in approx the first year the systems failed to operate along with terrible customer service. I am now looking for a company that can service Trane (it has a 10 year warranty). STAY AWAY FROM GRONER!!!

Sal Alfano provided very helpful information and advice when he came to our house to provide a free estimate.  The workmen came at the time scheduled.  They were very pleasant, neat, and efficient.  They placed tarps to protect the carpet where necessary.  The work was performed exactly as promised.  The price quoted, which was fair, was exactly what the job cost..  I am very pleased with our new air conditioner and the service they provided.

Sal came out to give me an estimate. Did his inspection and got the estimate out to me quickly. After we agreed on price they set up an appointment within 2 weeks. They arrived on time and were very respectful of our home, being careful in removing the old and installing the new equipment. Sal and his crew, including the staff at the office were very professional. I received follow up paperwork for warranty info within one week. I would definitely recommend Groner Service for small repair jobs and large installs alike.

Sal was able to diagnose problem on first visit. Took serial number of failed part (circuit board). Ordered part, which was covered by warranty, and installed it on second visit. Excellent knowledge of system and very professional service.

I was very happy with their service and Sal was a straight shooter on evaluating my humidifiers. When I decide to replace the old units they will get my business.

Ken provided an estimate and their estimate was the middle of three quotes.  (Beware that the estimate doesn't include tax.) When I called to go ahead with the work, they came within the week.  On the day of the work, three guys came.  They completed the work in 5 hours and were very professional.  While they were in the boiler room, they smelled a gas leak from the pipe leading to the hot water heater and fixed it right away.  My neighbor also wants to move their AC unit and I recommended this company to them.  I would definitely use this company again.
