Excellent work by Joe D. and Jorge C. on a recent home renovation. 80% of the old light fixtures were swapped for new ones. The guys arrived at the home within the time window quoted. They installed the new light fixtures carefully and in a reasonable amount of time. Many were ceiling fixtures, requiring ladders to complete the job. The ladders were placed safely and respectful of the recently painted walls and ceilings. The completed job was absolutely outstanding! Major props to Joe and Jorge for doing a phenomenal job! I will definitely call on BQ Electric again for any future electrical work.

Great experience, I have used many electricians in the past and decided to go with BQ electric, an Angie’s list recommendation with solid reviews . From beginning to end the process was first class. They came, gave me a prompt and knowledgeable estimate at a fair price. Installed transfer switch the following week sent two different electricians who were competent , nice as can be and very professional. I will be calling BQ electric next time I need work done 100% these guys were awesome

Replacing fan went very well. There were 2 workers and they had a very good portable light because it was dark at the time of the appt. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommend BQ Electric. Thank you!

They were great. They were really to responsive and quick, they didn't charge the labor.

A bit bumpy, in part due to CoVid Chaos, then a hurricane...but, they do their best to make sure the customer is happy, they do the “right thing”., period, and will jump through whatever hoops necessary to make it so.

One of the most resaonable and professional people i met. very prompt, very reasonable, very clean and the work done was immaculate. the nest of wires that used to be my circuit box is now a clean and organized. when i had questions post service, they were prompt and explained everything well. i would highly recommend them.

BQ Electric was prompt and worked hard to diagnose a very difficult problem. Bill and his team were very professional. I was not charged for some of the hours of the initial diagnosis. Brian and Bill explained all the work clearly. The BQ Electric team cleaned up after their work and were considerate.

Update to my last negative review. Since I wrote that review the owner reached out and apologized for the delay, and came and gave an estimate. Still collecting estimates so not sure if I will use them or not yet but the price seems reasonable.

The work done was what I wanted.

Brian was straight forward and explained everything that will happen during the job. Brian was on time and professional. His guys came in the morning and were on time and started right away. The guys were extremely respectful of the home. They cleaned up well and kept us up to date throughout the 4hr plus work they were doing. I would highly recommend these guys 100%.

They asked me where exactly they were going to go and explained local electric code for the new lines when I asked about the electric code

Owner came out for the estimate, he was helpful and informative. Installation went smooth, they were done within one day and answered all my questions. Price was middle of the road, not the highest but not the cheapest.

BQ Electric is simply the best electrical contractor in Nassau County when it comes to residential upgrades. It took me time and research to find an electrician with a following that has proven great results. There are plenty of contractors to choose from, however BQ Electric stood out because of their positive reviews they have received over a time-period. I called for a free estimate and was impressed that someone came out that same day to look at my job and I was given an estimate on the spot with a promise that work would start the next day if needed. The crew was clean, professional, on time, and did not play games with adding extra costs to the job. I was really impressed by the finished product and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have electrical work done in their home. Thank you Bill and Justin for doing a great job.

Quality work completed in a timely manner. I couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of Brian and his company. I would highly recommend BQ electric and intend on using them for all of my electric needs in the future. I spoke with two other electricians and was somewhat skeptical of the proposed work and time involved. Brian spoke to me immediately and provided a quote that was both accurate and reasonable. His associates arrived promptly the following day and completed the work with excellent results.

It went amazingly. We spoke with Brian and worked through what we needed. BQ was able to quickly upgrade a stock 1950s house into a modern one up to current code. They are friendly, knowledgeable, quick, clean, and everything was done right the first time. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work. More detailed info: We needed/wanted new service from the street, 200 amp breaker with a whole house surge protector, grounded outlets, GFCIs in the bathroom and kitchen, an outlet for an electric stove, ceiling fans and lighting throughout the home, dimmers in all the rooms we wanted, powered fire alarm system, an outlet outside, and more.

BQ Electric is by far the best electrical service I have ever used. Brian was a huge help in making sure everything was done in a timely and top quality manner. Would highly recommend & will be using them again.

No problem, Unit works fine. Electricians completed the job in a timely fashion.

It was fine.  They convinced me that I was better off with an electric fan instead of a solar fan.  There were additional fees.  They said it would be an extra $125.00.  They came on time.  Finished promptly and didn't make a mess.  I didn't really have any concerns or whatever.
