Excellent. If I could rate them an A+, I would. Hunter and his team (Chris and Brian) were consummate professionals. They arrived on time, project managed ancillary tasks, including hiring the chimney service to replace a liner no longer up to County Code, and researching/hiring the tank abandonment company that would cause the least disruption to my paved driveway that hid the underground dinosaur. They handled the surprise issues that popped up with some of my old pipes like pros, and Hunter personally got involved to correct the credit card snafu created by the company that ordered/delivered the boiler itself when I couldn't get any resolution myself. Hunter took care of all permits and inspection appointments, he even filed for my National Grid rebate, which in the end will reduce the overall cost I've noted here by about $850. Price noted includes my final up-front payment for the entire process, including the cost for the boiler itself and new chimney liner. They made a big project a seamless and positive experience for me, and I will absolutely call Hunter for any future plumbing projects.

I found Botto Brothers to be a high end provider of sophisticated plumbing services. While many plumbers will tell you that they know how to install high efficiency condensing boilers - the truth is the vast majority of plumbers have no clue how to properly install such a system (unfortunately I learned this the hard way). These systems are very complicated and must be installed correctly or you will have nothing but problems.
Botto Brothers and Hunter Botto know exactly what they are doing when it comes to these types of systems. They do beautiful work and are a pleasure to deal with. While they are not the cheapest plumbers in town, you get what you pay for and these guys deliver high end quality work. If you are considering putting in a condensing boiler, these are the guys to use.

They were here when scheduled and had the job completed quickly. Small equip glitches were quickly handled. I was completely satisfied, and the equipment is working as it should.

Our drain wasn't standard (distance from the wall) so the toilet that they brought wouldn't fit. They took the time to find one that would fit (locally), picked it up and installed it the same day. Very happy with their commitment to complete the job.

Job completed and fully satisfied. The men contact the master plumber when the ran into a problem. This was an additional (major) problem encountered by previous remodeler in Kitchen, fixed without extra charge.
PS Have used them for all plumbing work. They are not the cheapest but have done the job right every time!

They said that they had the right parts. When they got here, they didn't. They fixed it with other parts. When they finally got the right parts, they wouldn't call me back. They finally came out and charged me again. To put two screws in a toilet bowl, they charged me $200. They didn't even take out the original screws, I did. They wouldn't even give me any of my money back. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and Botto Brothers story was completely different.

Terrible. First of all I was never quoted a rate at the time I made the appointment and as it turns out, they charged $255.00 per hour! They did not fix the problem and in fact made it worse. When I called back to fix the situation, I asked how much it would be this time and was told they did not know, it depended on the service needed. This was despite the fact they were only at my home a week earlier. The owner became overly defensive and began yelling. He made nothing but excuses and at that time I refused to deal with him anymore.

"On February3,2011 our office received a call to service a Weil McLain High efficiency boiler at Member's Home. Our appointment was set to arrive between 9am & 12pm. We quoted our rates (as we do every service appointment) 175.00 for the service call which includes the 1st ½ hour. Then 58.00 for every additional 15 minutes. Our Certified technician Tom arrived at the job @ 11:30am to determine the problem with the equipment. The equipment which requires yearly service (as required per Weil Mclain) was three years old and had never been serviced. As has been our experience with these units we recommend the unit be disassembled and cleaned. We also recommend replacement of the ignition electrode, cleaning condensate trap (which was clogged) new o-rings, door gasket and testing. In accordance with the service ticket that was signed by the customer we arrived @ 11; 30am and performed this work. All was tested and the customer paid the invoice by check. A few days later the customer called to notify us there was a problem and asked if there was a charge for any additional work. We responded saying that our work is guaranteed for 90 days (as per our service order) and if work that we performed was a problem there would be no charge. If there was any additional work to be done it would be done on a continued time basis. 58.00 For every 15 minutes. (No service call) We never heard from the client again??????"
