I had, had my furnace cleaned lately, and implied that he had a special price available for that purpose, I agreed to have them do the job.  He asked if I had any problems with the unit, and I told him it had been making lowed-er then normal noise lately.
 The repair man arrived on time as scheduled, and proceeded to check the unit.  I was unaware that it had stopped working, as it is an auxiliary, unit for a extra large room.  The repair man said he COULD NOT work on it, as it was not running.  I would have expected them to send some one who could do repairs if necessary.  He told me it would cost over $800.00 to repair the unit, and when I said I could not do it at the time, he proceeded to charge me for cleaning the furnace.  He did absolutely nothing on the unit, but I was charged the full amount for the cleaning.  I told him I would have expected a minimum charge for his time, but not the full amount for cleaning, when nothing was done but give me an estimate.  I never got a return call from the company about my objection or to ask if I would like the repair done.  I will never ever call this company again.
