Precision Garage Door

The technician Danny Salas called me up and asked what is the problem and quoted me a price, he was very professional, very courteous and very reasonable which is great.

Replaced the pulleys on one side at an extremely high price and never addressed the keypad.

My garage door broke and it turned out I needed a new one. From the technician who came to look at my broken door to the installers who came to install the new one, everyone was professional, punctual, and pleasant. I would recommend them.

Done it. I see no need to do it again.

As previously filed, everything went just fine--way back in April.

This is the worst experience I've had so far in dealing with a business. I called to request a quote; I can't be at home during M-F 9am-5pm since I have a job too and the reservation center told me that they can't make an appointment outside of those hours. Then they called someone and they said that someone will come by on Sat, 3 weeks later, sometime btw 8am-12pm!! I wasn't in hurry, so I said ok. On the Fri before the appointment, someone called to reschedule the appointment and they didn't give me any other Sat. I was told that they can only do during the hours above!!  
I have a job too, and I am sure many other people around and not being able to set an appt for Sat?!! Of course I cancelled and I was never able to get a quote. Such a waste of time!!!

Terrible

By the end of the experience I was relatively dissatisfied.  If you have experience getting a garage door repaired, you will find that every company you call wants a fee of $75 (give or take) just to come to your house and give you an estimate.  When I was about to say thank you and goodbye upon calling them at first they stopped me and said 'We have a special promotional offer right now, we will come and give you an estimate for free.'  This sounded encouraging to me.  The gentleman who came was extremely articulate and professional.  He first gave me an estimate for $649 which came with a transferable warranty for the life of the system including the next owner of the house.  I was amazed at that number, knowing it was much too high for the work to be done.  He then proceeded to give me a lower estimate for $383.  After completing the work and accepting the check this individual said, 'just keep an eye on the operating cable.  In case it gets frayed, give us a call.'  You may now call me Mr. Stupid.  If I had visited Sears first, I would have discovered that an entirely new system including the power unit, 2 remotes, control console, keyless entry pad, safety sensors, and all of the rail hardware could have been purchased for $230 and $150 for installation.  An entirely new system installed for $379.  I have so far spoken with 3 senior individuals in the company about my disappointment that a new operating cable was not included.  Their response was, 'we are not Sears' and implied that their services were much higher quality than anything Sears would provide.  Please draw your own conclusions from this story.
