I have had terrible issues with this company before, too many to go into. In my opinion they are terrible. This is my most recent experience. Water Tight Home Improvements installed a new roof on my home in 2011. The contract called for a 10 year warrantee on workmanship. Recently during an inspection of my roof I found finishing nails nailed directly through the roof, which were not protected by other shingles or materials. It was obvious to me that these finishing nails did not belong where they were. On June 4th 2019, a representative from Water Tight advised me that the nails should not have been there and removed the finishing nails. He replaced certain shingles with the exception of approximately 4 shingles. The nail holes on these shingles were covered by roofing cement. The company representative advised he would later return with a ladder to replace another shingle that was damaged. The damage to that shingle had nothing to do with Water Tight or the manufacturer, but he promised to replace it as a courtesy. He would be back within in two weeks (of the June 4th visit). On June 18, 2019, I texted the rep of Water Tight directly and advised that I was unhappy with the roofing cement patch job over the nails and requested that he return to my home to replace the shingles. To date I have not heard back from him. On June 20, 1019, I twice e-mailed the owner of the Water Tight Home Improvements directly to his e-mail address and through the contact module within his company’s website. I requested proper removal and repair of the shingles. To date the repairs have not been done. On June 25, 2019, I advised the office manager of Water Tight that I wanted the shingles properly repaired. He told me that he would call me back by the close of business on that day to try to have the situation resolved. He did not call back. I would like to have this company to properly repair the shingles on my roof.

Price was within other estimates, everthing promised was done, Of the three estimate I got, they were the only ones that actually went on top of the roof, to examine it and take measurements. They arrived before 8 am with crew of 16 men. It was a little scary how quickly they did the job, until you realize that everyone has there own job and does it exceptionally well. Supervisor was always on-site and was more than willing to answer any questions I had. The best way I can describe this contractor is honest, dependable, skilled, professional and worth every penny. The finished job was as good or better than other roofing jobs we looked at in our community. I'm an thinking of doing some siding work next year and will definitely use this contractor again.
The sub-contractor that did the gutter was exceptional (in the past I haven't always been satisfied with sub-contrators). I had a lot of changes from the original gutters and leaders. He was more than ready to work with me ( i'll submit a separate review). I told him about one issue in one gutter that had a leader on each side (both need). He offered to pitch it so that 75% went in one direction and 25% in the other.
The only con I have, I was always able to contact someone in the office but return calls where not always what I would like but that could have been my fault also, since I never stressed any urgency.

They installed all the necessary vents, flashing, and all the necessary water shields. They also installed architectural shingles. They were very good. I think they also replaced the gutters. They had given us a guarantee on their work.
