They were very good with the work and anything that needed to be cleaned up they did it and took all trash with them.

Perfectly. They replaced everything including the down spouts and installed leaf fitters. They were done in 1/2 day and cleaned everything up nicely

Everything was done as expected. Work done was quick and clean, no debris left behind. Nothing unexpected, no surprises.

Disaster! The company installed one side of the house and has not returned to finish the job. Calls go unanswered, no one from the company is available to help, no one returns calls. The company is unprofessional, incompetent, and we would NEVER hire them again. The BBB has an Alert warning out about them - so please advise people about this.

In conjunction with doing a full replacement of our roof, my wife and I also selected Leaf Filter as a company to replace our aged and in need of an upgrade gutter and downspout system. From working with the sales representative and office staff to walking around while the work of removing and installing a new system was being done to watching the cleanup, we saw a competent team that took the time to do a complete and professional job at a reasonable price. Some of the highlights of this job included how fast the team was able to be put together based on our schedule combined with how thorough the work was done as they completed tearing down our existing system, putting replacement gutters and downspouts in place, adding new sections to the system we had, putting on the Leaf Filter system then doing the final clean up. While the job took a little longer than expected, we are incredibly pleased with the results which met meet our satisfaction.

The installation was in December in the northeast. Poor workmanship left screws and materials in the yard. Tin snips left behind. End caps not sealed. Just disappointed all around. Been back a second time. Thought was figured out. Nope. More drips and leakage. Coming out a third time. Run away!

Everything is great and the wind blows the debris of of the filters. No roof climbing for me!

The first time I thought they worked a little to fast to get done then a service manager came back to take care of some things that I didn’t think were right.He took care of everything very professionally All and all a good job!

The service was okay. I don't like the product because it doesn't work properly. It was also overpriced.

Lone installer arrived on time in a very cold, wet snowstorm. Installed filters after realigning and cleaning all gutters. He was careful of all shrubs and cleaned up leaves. Filters seem to be working well. No problems with overflow.

The saleman was on time and answered all my questions. The installation was done in a very timely manner .they were very neat and professional! John b.

At our initial contact, the company representative clearly described the scope of work to be done and answered all our questions. Pricing (after discount) was higher than we had expected, but fair considering the extent of the job and the future benefit to us (no more annual gutter cleaning). Work was scheduled for 3 days later. Two workers completed the job in one full day. All work debris was cleaned up. Representatives were punctual, courteous, and professional. We would highly recommend them.

The Salesman, Orlando, came out on Saturday evening and sold us on the quality of materials and service. He convinced us it was in our best interest to have them come out the next day to install. We agreed. They said they would not leave a mess, they would clean out and reinforce all our gutters along with cleaning out our downspouts and this was part of their guarantee. They showed up on time the next day, one main Installer (David) and an Assistant. It was the Assistant's first time. The Installer was very nice but the job was very big for just two individuals and took most of the day. We reminded them of the necessity to clean out the gutters and down spouts as they promised. They did clean up nicely and were polite. However, four days later during the first rain storm we noticed (much to our disappointment) that they never cleaned out our downspouts and possibly didn't also put them back together correctly in two different areas causing an extreme overflow . This was NEVER the occurrence before we got them installed. We immediately called for someone to come out and they were not only giving my Husband a hard time (he is very ill) but they said that they wouldn't be able to come out for another week. We called the main office and they kept transferring us back to the office in Rochester. Especially due to my Husband's illness this is terrible. He can't go out to try to fix the situation and we risk damage to our home. We called the man who convinced us to do it, the Installer and we spoke several times with Rick today at the office and they didn't even bother to call us back after the conversation to tell us what they plan on doing. My Husband will be at the Hospital most of next week. We need this taken care of now and paid a small fortune for what they said was #1 Customer Related including on Angie's list. I will absolutely updated this review if they fix this in the next day or two. What I think is interesting is that they insisted on coming out on Sunday to install it and get their money but they wouldn't come and fix it in a timely manner. I believe the product might be excellent but NOT if they do not take care of the basics of cleaning out the gutters and the downspouts correctly. Again this is something they promised, committed to and we reminded them several times.

Initial instillation went VERY well. Impressed with care the person who installed them did the work. On 7/11/17 call to complain about clogging, service rep said that someone would be back to me in 24 hrs. Instead, someone came out the NEXT day and cleaned the parts that were clogged at no charge and showed me how to do it if it needs cleaning again. Very pleased with prompt service and how easy it is to fix!

THE PRODUCT: Spend 10 minutes on Google and you will find: 1) everyone's gutter product is the best! and 2) every product seems to have its own set of catastrophic complaints and flaws. Pay attention to the LeafFilter warranty: it ONLY provides protection in the event that the INTERIOR of your gutters accumulate debris and/or flood with water. It DOES NOT guarantee they will last forever nor that the micro mesh will never become blocked. (A blocked filter will still do what the warranty claims by keeping debris out of your gutter... but the water will simply flow off the debris over/around the gutter and cause other problems.) Any sales rep who pitches this as a "maintenance free solution" is sketchy (see below). It's a filter, ALL filters eventually clog and need to be cleaned/replaced (think furnace air filter, fuel filter, water filter, oil filter, etc.). This does however simplify gutter maintenance. Inspect about once a year, clean with a quick brush of a broom, spray from a hose nozzle (recommended by the installer) or leaf blower. Frequency of this is probably going to depend on the amount of sun, adjacent trees and type of debris being dropped so your mileage may very. That being said, my LeafFilters seem sturdy and have worked quite well during some severe rain storms in the first couple weeks of having them installed. They are very effective at keeping pine needles out of gutters. Time will tell how well they withstand a full load of leaves this fall and how durable they are. THE SALE (worst part): From the outset, I was looking for prices and information from an estimate so I could shop around then make a decision on how to best clean, fix and improve my gutters. Google search turns up average cost for gutter guards. ([*** Link removed ***] The price I paid was in the high average range... BUT that was only AFTER sitting through a relentless 2 HOUR sales pitch where the first price put on the table was OVER TWO TIMES the price I actually paid! The guy seemed ****** when I told him I would need to think about it and shop around. After a song and dance and multiple phone calls to his manager (which was all probably an act) they say he could quote me a price "at cost" ONLY if I had the work done the following day by a crew that had just recently been freed up from a canceled job. The only reason I moved forward was because it was roughly in the ball park of what I knew about gutter prices and my gutter problem would be completely taken care of quickly... I was lucky I was not far off the mark. I can't help but think if there are others out there who got screwed by this tactic and paid much more than they should have. For this reason, I would not recommend this company unless you are good at dealing with sketchy sales tactics. INSTALLATION (highlight of experience): The sub-contractor who came to my house to do the installation was great. Answered many questions explained what he was going to do; how the filters would be installed around the existing gutter and drip edge, how to maintain them, etc. Showed me the screws and hardware used for mounting. He let me inspect the gutters as he worked his way around the house. Gutter+filter is definitely solidly mounted when complete. Gave me feedback on how to deal with the fascia on a couple of odd corners. He even let me use one of his extension ladders while he was working so I could get on the roof and clean up some twigs and needles that accumulate in one of the valleys. Very personable.

The installation was professionally done. my gutters were in good shape. the took out the 2 supports for every 5 feet of gutter and added 4 Solid braces. I am very happy with the job.

Actually when the guy came over he went through his price, this is a couple of thousand dollars and he says  'And we are on Angie's List'. I didn't even think of looking on there...maybe I did, but I didn't see them. You really can't see it because it is on the roof but I believe it came out okay.  I can see some of it on my garage which is lower. The salesperson was really knowledgeable. He showed me the products. He showed me what products were out there and he showed me his product and which can be far more superior. We started at $3000 and reduced down to $2000 with tax and all included. I was satisfied with all that.
