J. Grano Contracting

Grano came recommended through Cancos tile, where we picked out and ordered the tile. We called for three prices, and Grano was immediately the best. He made great suggestions, pointing out that once we tiled in the old doorway we'd have to live with it forever. We immediately realized the door had to be included. No one else pointed this out. He saw we had chosen a modern style for our tile and cabinet and suggested that high hi hats would complete the look. Once again, bullseye. When we got all three prices, Grano's was about the same as the others -- but his included the electrical and door that he suggested! He explained that he also was going to do a complete demo and mud job. One of the estimates was going to simply tile over the existing sheetrock. Grano offered to pick up the tile for us at Cancos which was a big help and savings since we don't own a truck. Grano brought their own dumpster trailer on the demo day, and all the debris disappeared like magic. The next day they brought a tool trailer -- which meant they had a veritable shop on wheels! The work began, and at each stage I continued to be impressed.. When the crew uncovered the outer wall we learned that the insulation was old and sub-standard. For just the cost of some insulation, they suggested we could do that before they covered it up with new sheetrock. A licensed electrician was called in to do the wiring. Now the job is complete, every seam and joint is perfect. Our house is literally cleaner than when they started (They brought their own carpet shampoo machine!) The crew was pleasant, skilled., helpfull I can't say enough about Grano conracting, they are one company I look forward to using again.
