We have relied on Cool Power since their original installation of our Lenox system, and we are completely satisfied with the unit and yearly service. Alex, the amazing technician who came yesterday for the yearly service visit, meticulously diagnosed and fixed a minor issue and the system works like new. We recommend Cool Power. The yearly contract is worth every penny.

Called a friend in the commercial A/C business who recommended Cool Power for central a/c repair .I called them and set up a repair call. The tech arrived at 1000am sharp the next morning introduced himself , very professional , very friendly . He spent about an hour doing some testing and found the evaporator coil freezing and failing . About noon time the very next day Vinny one of the Owner/Foreman of Cool Power called me and went over the inspection report and asked if it was OK to come over , I was glad he offered to come over that same day and discuss what I would need to resolve the issue. Within two hours Vinny showed up .He introduced himself and said he wanted to do another inspection. He explained the issue and advised that I needed An Evaporator Coil match to my Lennox condenser was the best possible fix for my system...Vinny was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with .I felt very comfortable with his suggestions and went ahead with the new Evaporator coil and installation...The parts and metal work were completed the install was set up and done within 5 business days. His install crew showed up at 830am for the install , great crew easy to work with , clean , neat professional after about 5 1/2 -6 hours the work was complete and just in time to defend against 90 degree weather . Called at 6am Monday morning and was pleased to speak with a "real" person at the answering service. A service technician arrived within 4 hrs, as was promised. Joe, the service technician, was professional, competent and friendly. The repair was done efficiently and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

They were very good. The owner of the company came over and discussed the installation and the type of the unit we got for the cost. We did shop around but I thought his was the best value considering the type of unit he was putting in and the cost of it. We used it all season. It was fine. We had no issue with it. They were very nice. The installation guys were great. I thought the price was fine. The quality of work was excellent. Their responsiveness was very good. They showed up when they were supposed to show up. If you had any issue, they had to reschedule it in the beginning but they gave us ample notice. Their professionalism was excellent. We would recommend them to somebody.

Everything about our dealings with Cool Power has been terrific. (We investigated three companies thoroughly before signing on.) The initial installation was done professionally and we were happy with the results - a new, efficient system, at a reasonable cost. When we had difficulty with LIPA (we were due a rebate, which somehow fell through the cracks at LIPA, but this was paperwork after Hurricane Sandy, so no surprise, really…), Cool Power stepped in and helped us expedite it. We have signed up for the annual maintenance contract for the past two years, feeling we wanted to protect our investment, and the service has been prompt, professional, and thorough both years. We recommend Cool Power to anyone who is looking for the services they provide.

A crew of 5 was out my house and put in 2 full days, without any problems. They were professional, courteous, and neat. They went as far as helping me get a nest out of some attic space while running ducts along with shoveling the snow all the way around my home to get my new unit to the location! This was well above their scope of work and never complained. The work was thoughtfully laid out with attention and detail and couldn't be happier with the price and install.

Scheduling and communication was excellent. A full crew showed up on time. The work was completed in a bit less time than they had estimated. They made almost no mess and they had to install new registers in every room. The system has worked as promised all summer without any problems.

They were on time, professional, cleaned up before they left and I have been loving the system ever since. I sign up for the annual contract and they come out every year to give the system a "tune up". They are the ultimate in professionals from the sales person to the men doing the installation. This is a company I have been using for a couple of years now. I used them for a central A/C unit first. The price was middle of the road. Everything else was exemplary. The workers were on time and very knowledgeable. They put it in fast and neat. I noticed that my font two rooms were not cooling well. The owner came to my house and determined that both rooms needed an additional vent. He was sorry for the inconvenience and installed them for cost.
After Super Storm Sandy I called them to replace my flooded boiler. They were their within days of the storm to give me an estimate. In a time where lots of companies were price gouging they came across with a more that fair estimate for full replacement. They had my boiler within a week and held onto it for me for a bit until I reached the stage of repair for it to be installed.
I had a service contract for maintenance on my previous boiler with another company. I also had a contract for oil delivery. They decided to price gouge and tried to charge me for things that would have normally been covered under the contract. I left them for Cool Power's oil delivery and they have shown up when they said they would and filled the tank. Their prices are also very competitive.
I have a contract with Cool Power to service my central A/C unit. Due to an electrical issue I sustained some damage to my central A/C unit. This happened during the peak of the recent heat wave. As a contract customer I was able to get them to my house within a couple of days. They determined which part I needed and had it in a couple of days. A technician named Vin came to do the repair. While doing the work he came across another part that needed to be replaced. He called the place they use for parts and was told it was available. Through my experience most places would have said we have to order the part and reschedule to put it in. Knowing it was extremely hot and that I had an infant in the home Vin left, picked up the part, and installed it. I was very appreciative.
Cool Power is a company that will go the extra mile and I would recommend them to anyone.

Top pros. Obtained through Cosco with their ;promotion discount. Job went as smooth as silk. Had Lennox XC17-36 installed. Because this firm gets many of their customers from Cosco you can be certain that they know what they're doing.

Service person would not let me sign a contract to do the work. Since I did not want to open an American Express account at Costco, he did not want to accept cash. Imagine in a recession, where the bill was over $14K, he did not want to accept cash for the work. I had some of the work done by another company who was happy to take cash.
