Joe Leahy and Associates

We had occasion to have a lot of work done in our house over the past three years, from kitchen to adding a bathroom, to patio, to a pool and more.  Joe installed a new roof for us in July.  After we hired him to do our roof because he was so good, we hired him to do a couple of other things.  He was far in a way the best person to work on our home.  He was very respectful of our home.  We had our bathroom done by someone else who did a terrible job.  The floor tiles were popping off and so Joe redid that for us as well.  He had a lawn sign in my friends neighbor’s yard.  We went over and asked the neighbor and they said that he did terrific work, so we then had him.  He was not so punctual with the bathroom remodel or it could be that I might have been a little impatient because we only just have the one bathroom.  We went through another company to do our kitchen, we had somebody else do a deck around our pool, and they were somebody who does great, big advertising.  Then we had someone else do our bathroom that had to be redone by Joe.  So, we had used three different contractors and Joe was the most professional and the most clean of them all.  He was very respectful of my home and the outside.  Even when he brought something through the house, he laid brown paper down, so that he was not tracking on the tiles.  He was just unbelievable.  We had a $30000 deck put around our pool by another company and they treated my yard as if it was a construction site.  They waited for the union to come and clean it up.  There was sandwich wrappers, soda bottle, they never bothered clean them up and this was the house where I live.  However, with Joe, when he put our roof on, he had his two workers with a stick with a magnet on it to go around the whole yard and the perimeter of the house so that they could clean any little tacks, roofing nails or anything of that sort.  They picked it all up and that is how consciences Joe was.  He was even that way with my bathroom.  I can’t say enough about Joe; I really can’t.  Everybody should have this type of contractor in ones house.  One would never hire anybody else once one works with Joe.
