Make my home over

Finding Mike this summer was a major help. I was about to undertake some renovations to my house that had been put off for a while and was in way over my head. I called him at first to take care of a few little things here and there and by the end of the summer he had done most of what I set out to do alone. His prices were extremely fair, he was very responsive to my constant messaging, and very punctual. He and his crew worked well and quickly and he stayed true to all quotes even if it ended up taking him much longer to finish the job than anticipated. There isn't a room he didn't work on in my house this summer.

Mike was very punctual and resourceful. Went above and beyond to coordinate water turn on / off with building mgmt made sure we are always aware of progress identified issues upfront an suggested resolutions. Was prompt to accommodate additional requests for final finishes to our liking. He made sure the job got done to our satisfaction. He's slightly pricey but makes sure the job is done right.

Mike was punctual and friendly and performed all work effectively.

I have one word: AWESOME! A?s ACROSS THE BOARD for all of my work to be done on my house, he is the man that I will call. P.S  about a month ago I had insulation work done on my house. The guys did a great job. Only problem was that a part of my lower wall in the bed room was weak. And while the insulation was being done from the outside the pressure from the hose made a hole in the wall. The guys cleaned up but I called Mike so that he could repair the wall. He came to my house and repaired the wall and did a great job. The other workers offered. But since they would have had to come back with the compound and it would have taken about a couple of days due to their heavy work load I just called Mike and he was there in a day. I appreciate all that he has done. AWESOME! Mike did a wonderful job on my front entrance doors i am very pleased. Thank you Mike!  

We had a plumbing disaster in the weeks leading up to Christmas and called Mike to see if he would be able to handle the worst of it before the holidays.  To our eternal delight he was able to come out immediately and get the entire job done very quickly.  He's proactive and very detail oriented.  He identified a small problem with some of the support beams which were exposed during the work and explained what the issue was clearly and why it would be a good idea to fix (and economical since the sheetrock had already been removed).   

We have been using Mike for a collection of smaller jobs around the house and he's always been prompt and reliable,  Very transparent on pricing jobs and an all around pleasure to work with.  I'd have no reservations at all about recommending him for pretty much any job large or small.  Plus he seems to get along very well with my dog...

Mr Delacy was very efficient and professional. Very nice man..He explained everything that he was doing and did a great job..I had a  leak in ceiling. He repaired my roof and said he would be back in a couple of days to check it.

Also he will return to fix my front doors and replace them.

I have a old house so I will try not to overload him. Thank you so much I look forward to doing business with him in the future. He is very honest. When he first came thru he quoted me one estimated price for the repair of the roof.

The second time he came to do the work and after going up on the roof and seeing what had to be done, he explained that it was not that bad and he will do it for half the price that he first quoted me. I really appreciated his honesty and the work that he has done. So I have his card and will be hiring him for more work. He will be back to fix my front doors.

When Mike returned a couple of days later to check my roof, he brought Bo, a roof contractor with him. After Bo inspected my roof I found out that it was more damaged then I realized  as well as the chimney. Mike and Bo with other workers repaired my roof and chimney in a couple of hours and did not take me to the bank.

They did a great job. I am very happy.

Mike is very, very knowledgeable.  The job went really well.  It may have been a little pricey but I think you get pay for.  He deserves it.  He did a great job.  He's a real craftsman, a real fix-it guy.  The water had to be removed from under the sink.  He removed mildew and smell.  He built a foundation for a box to protect area from getting moldy and wet again.  Removed old wood and painted it with exterior paint to protect it.  It seems to be very effective. He also fixed the screen on screen door and said said he'd look around for other things that needed fixed.  Mike is intelligent and quick.

The work Mike did and the timeliness in which he completed the job exceeded my high expectations,  Both my tenant and I were extremely satisfied with the work done, and with the very reasonable estimate provided to me.  It is very difficult getting reliable providers when you live 1,000+ miles from the job being done.  I currently live in Florida, and now have peace-of-mind knowing that I can depend on a reliable provider such as Mike DeLacy/Make My Home Over to be there for me when I myself cannot.

Mike and his team are wonderful!  Mike communicated very well with us throughout the completion of the work.  He went above and beyond by helping us with some other things happening in our home  which were not part of the work being performed. We were more than satisfied with the results. We look forward to working with Mike and his team on an ongoing basis and absolutely recommend their services.

Job went very well. Work was done very efficiently.  Remodeling work is always tricky, but there were no surprises.  Mike stuck to the price. Good communication, great experience.

Mike was great:  he responded to my initial call within hours - and from start to finish completed work that I thought was undoable in under two weeks.

He was professional, punctual, pleasant  - just about perfect!  You will be lucky if he is available to do a project for you 

There were no negatives associated with Mke:  after the job was done, he went way out of his way to pick up a screen for me that would not fit in my vehicle,   What a nice guy!!
