Very top quality work. Ken is very straightforward to deal with. We were glad to patiently wait while Ken obtained his local license, because we wanted Ken to do our deck upgrade. We were not disappointed. Ken kept us informed thru the whole process. Very pleased with the results, no complaint. If you are looking for the lowest possible price or cutting corners, then Deckscapes is not your thing. If you are looking for top quality and professionalism, then we recommend Ken. You might have to be patient, because he is in demand.

They did a very nice job. We had no problem at all. They were prompt and clean, and everything was delivered as promised.

Ken talked me into paying for plans for the deck. If we chose Ken to build the deck, then he would subtract the 450.00 from the total cost. I paid for the plans but I did not mind because I wanted Ken to do the deck and I wanted him to know we were serious. My wife and I ask many questions and we were planning a project that would cost about $15,000.00. Ken stopped answering my emails and phone calls. If Ken did not want to do business with me, I wished he told me to find someone else. The plans that he sent me probably took him 10 minutes to do and I could have done myself using deck planner website. The plans were not worth the $450.00 I spent. I asked for my money back and of course, Ken did not return my email.

Ken and his crew did an excellent job. We chose Ipe hardwood and white vinyl railing and posts, and it looks beautiful. Everything from the foundation to the fascia and trim were constructed with care. Installed doors fit and operate smoothly. Workmanship and professionalism were top notch. We give Deckscapes our highest recommendation, and would unhesitatingly enlist their services in the future.

Work started as scheduled, There was a long (3 month) wait for the job due to the work load of this company. Deck went up quicly and expertly. The building inspector commented on the quality of the workmanship. There was attention to detail. All debris was cleared every day and the final deck was left perfect.

Ken Kroog is knowledgeable and professional. We had 4 companies come to give estimates. Ken is the only one who showed up with decking samples and asked detailed questions about what we wanted for the new deck surface. His price was very competitive.
Ken works together with his crew and showed up on schedule to start the job. They are skilled, hard working and pleasant to deal with. They carefully cleaned up when the deck was finished leaving it and the surrounding ground immaculate. They were quick to fix any minor items we pointed out without complaint.

This is the second time I have used Deckscapes Services and I was as satisfied in 1997 as I am now. Ken Kroog is a an exemplary contractor; honest, communicative, willing to listen to your ideas and steer you towards the best resolution for you and your home. The work was done in a timely fashion, quality workmanship with an (unusual today) attention to detail. My porch is beautiful and I have received many compliments on the craftsmanship...I highly reccomend Deckscapes to anyone seeking a reliable, honest and quality professional.

Ken Kroog, the main contractor, was a top-level professionalism from the start of the job to the finish. He is knowledgeable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. He gave us many good ideas and gave us a very reasonable price.
