My name is Jeff Pelton. Ive been doing construction for 35 years. Im the DBA owner of Pelton Contracting. I have been in business for 20+ years. The company is fully insured. We take great pride in our work, and make sure we meet all of our customers expectations. All of our employees have had schooling (Questar and college graduates) in the construction field. I bought an old farmhouse in the Catskills and was looking for a contractor to to work on some projects and found Pelton Contracting on a facebook group. Out of the many things that have gone wrong at my house, connecting with Jeff is one of the things that have gone right! My house is a vacation rental and I feel so lucky to have Jeff on my team. He solves problems so fast which is so crucial for my rental business. I can count on him and his team. I feel very lucky to have connected with a contractor with integrity. He's flexible in his scope of work which I find very helpful as I can just go to him for anything I need. I highly recommend!

Crooks - like others have said. Took my money and ran. Insisted on payment when job done, but job was not done. Twice said that they were coming back, came back once while I was not home, and caused more damaged by removing parts, not replacing parts. Also, caused other property damage, and denies any responsibility. Poor customer service.

"Hello, I’m sorry you feel this way, we have had good conversations and have made agreements. To be specific, after we put your metal roof on (which we can agree does not leak and is done) your vent pipe (which was 6” off the roof before we started) is too short. We agreed to help the cost of a plumber fixing that to avoid problems. The gutters we did come back and put more clips in, now every foot instead of the recommended every 2’. You are still unhappy and we are willing to come back and do more clips. I hope you consider your review as we have been going above and beyond to try and make you happy. CROOKS - JEFF PELTON TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER DID ANY WORK - TOOK HIM TO COURT AND HAVE A JUDGEMENT AGAINST HIM FOR $4500. JEFF PELTON HAS MULTIPLE JUDGEMENTS AGAINST HIM BECAUSE JEFF PELTON HAS DONE THIS MANY TIMES BEFORE AND WILL DO IT AGAIN. AVOID JEFF PELTON.

An absolute awful job. When people see his work they ask if this is his first attempt at roofing. It looks like it was assembled with scraps. Is not upfront about information with regard to warranty and a year later I am still waiting for him to make corrections. Unfortunately I paid him in full. I had a lawyer contact him and he didn’t respond to him either. Be forewarned.
