Old toilet was leaking into the basement. Called Van Guard because it was recommended by Angi. They came out, inspected the job, educated me as to what we needed done, how and why… and gave me an estimate that evening. Called other plumbers. Some said they would charge me to come out for an estimate and one even gave me an estimate over the phone without even asking questions about the job. I called Van Guard and scheduled an appointment to do the job. He came out, replaced the toilet and did exactly what he said he needed to do. No hidden fees, no outrageous ad-ons, no bullsh*t. Was pleasant, professional, answered all of our questions no matter how trivial. We will definitely hire vanguard for our next project… kitchen faucet and drain repair… done right this time.

I hired Vanguard to replace a leaking water heater. Eric responded quickly, gave me a quote over the phone and replaced the unit the next day.
