The job started out ok, but then the little extras cropped up...'oh, I can't do the job, because I see you need this, etc."
So the job finished and all seemed ok until the first heat wave hit and the A/C unit didn't cool the house.  I called them and the phone rang and rang with no answer and no one on-call to handle emergencies like most HVAC companies have available to support their customers.
I go to their website to hopefully find an email address and the link leads me to another company, so the lost their domain name.  I guess they are now out of business, even though they took my money for a preventative tune up just a month prior to my calls.
I had another company come out and they said that they sold me a unit that was too small to cool my home's square footage...there goes $3000 down the drain.  Then the other HVAC guy tells me they destroyed my $3000 air filter and that the installation job was the worst he's ever seen.  It seems they taped over wide gaps and air was escaping when they should've put duct work in place.  Pretty shoddy work.  The front office Sarah Allen was an airhead and she couldn't even handle an installation date appointment.
I'd warn you to stay clear, but they're out of business with my money and I'm sure many others.  I sure know how to pick them, huh?

lemHis agents spent a lot of time with the attic fan and other than a new fan belt (which I could have replaced) there was no resolution of the problem

The scheduling process was quick and convenient over the phone.  Jordan, the technician, was punctual, neat, and friendly.  He also cleaned the condensate pump for me, as it is a high-efficiency furnace, and he provided a new filter.  I would definitely consider them for future heating work.

Mark Allen and Mark Allen Heating & Cooling are one and the same ?INCOMPETENT INSTALLERS AND RIPOFFS?.  Several weeks after installing a new furnace in my home, my wife decided that she would like a new whole home humidifier system installed onto the furnace.  I called Mark Allen and he came right away to install a full home humidifying  system in my home which is attached to my furnace.  Right after he installed the system we noticed that there was water leaking all over our basement floor.  Mark Allen came back to my home, he then proceeded to completely tear apart the new system and    jury-rigged the water sensor.  The next day I called him to report that it was still leaking. He came back and again changed the sensor levels.  The next day when I called a third time to report that the unit was still leaking, Mark told me that he could not ?afford? to keep coming back to my house and that he would not come back again.  He just ?gave up? and said that he did not know what was causing the leak but that he was not coming back.  Leaving me no choice, I then called another heating contractor, ?ECO Heating and Cooling?.  ECO came to my house, they literally just looked at the installation and told me that the leak was caused by the unit not being installed ?level?.  This diagnosis took all of 10 seconds.  Eco removed two screws, put a level to the unit, reattached the screws and we have not had a problem since. Eco was in and out of my house within fifteen minutes.  You would think that a competent heating contractor would check to be sure all his installations were level.  DUH!!!!

Needless to say, I recommend that you do not call Mark Allen & Mark Allen Heating and cooling.  Not only was he incompetent with his installation, he was incompetent in diagnosing the problem.  AND, to make matters worse, he gave up and left me high and wet with the problem.
