"We are very sorry that you were not happy with our job as we strive for customer satisfation. We did miss pulling a few nails and yes we did send a manager to address the complaint ASAP, he did offer to pull the nails or get a crew out there at a more convenient time for you to pull the nails, to which you refused and said that your husband would take care of. The remaining wall material that was not removed by the SERVPRO staff on the kitchen wall was left behind due to the construction of the wall. This was not a typically framed in wall, it was previously an exterior which made the drywall removal behind the base board heater difficult to remove. In this case the drywall (approx 3sqf) would be left behind for the reconstruction contractor to remove properlly to prevent causing damage to the base board heater itself. It is common that the drywall remaining behind the base board heater does in fact dry out, as it is in such close proximity to a source of heat. In this case due to the construction of the drywall being installed directly against a previous exterior plank wall it inhibited the evaporation. The area in question was appox. 3 square feet. The moisture readings obtained from the remaining structure and framing had lowered to an acceptable range per each individual material."
