SERVPRO OF THE SOUTHTOWNS

Description of Work: Not sure what the cost of the job was as our insurance company paid them directly as it was part of a claim when we had a pipe freeze and burst in our upstairs master bathroom, causing water damage to the kitchen and entry below. The staff was super polite and punctual. They were hired to do the dryout of the water damaged areas. They brought in dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the areas, monitored them frequently to see how drying was coming along and used moisture meters to see which areas weren't drying out enough and would have to be removed. Our two biggest complaints: 1- they were there to remove the wet damaged materials so that mold wouldn't grow, they left nails sticking out everywhere in the hallway after removing the drywall. When we called to complain about that as we have 2 small kids under the age of 3 and are concerned with them getting hurt by these nails, they sent a manager out. He took pictures of the nails but still didn't remove them, we ended up removing them ourselves. 2- They told us that the one wall of the kitchen had to have all the drywall removed due to the moisture readings, they removed all of this wall but about 3square foot that was behind baseboard heater. How was the whole wall wet beyond salvaging but this 3sf at the bottom of the wall? When we removed this section of drywall, the planks behind baseboard heater were visibly wet and there was mold ont the back of the sheetrock in this spot.
