FAILED TO PROVIDE PROMISED INFORMATION ON NATIONAL FUEL REBATE!

10/15/15  authorized install of furnace / air conditioner financed through contractor
10/15/15  One Hour opened credit card in my name - received payment in full
10/21/15 furnace  / air conditioner installed
Contractor had multiple chances to provide paid invoice and rebate form

1. 1  10/21/15 left invoice after install showing full balance due - 6 days after being paid in full
2. 2  should have mailed paid receipt and rebate form after installation completed
3. 3  failed to return voice mail inquiring about rebate approx 2 weeks after install
4. 4  failed to respond after return of owner's customer satisfaction survey post card approximately three weeks after install
5. 5 11/18/15 I went in person to office - had to wait for them to process paperwork (print paid invoice and hand me rebate form)

Not even an apology - acted like I was imposing on their time.
Their motto - "on time or you don't pay a dime" has no meaning for them
Owner's promise on website, "... will always do what is right for the client."  also means nothing.
Five weeks to print "paid" invoice and provide pre-printed National Fuel Rebate Form?? Really??
Customer service is inexcusable

Excellent. We have had this company for 20+ years and would recommend them. They are very thorough and quick. The heating and cooling servicemen are professional and honest. They will tell you what is right about your system as well as what is wrong.

I have been leaving multiple messages for their service manager ever since October trying to get them to honor my warranty. No luck so far.

I had signed up for winter and spring checkups for the furnace and air conditioning. They came over and checked everything out and cleaned my air conditioning unit and everything was a-okay. A couple of months ago, they came to check the furnace and it had a bad motor. He found that and replaced that. They are very responsive and good customer relations. I would recommend them.

I hired this co. to install a gas boiler and hot water tank. My boiler/furnace failed during a very cold stretch of weather recently, I called this co. to inspect and was told that the boiler needed to be replaced...it was over 30 yrs. old so this seemed reasonable. They sent a salesman over in a matter of a couple of hours. He explained to me the different efficencey boilers and the costs. I also mentioned that my hot water tank was over 10 yrs old, so that should prob. be replaced also. He presented the estimate, which I thought was a bit high, but he also explained to me the 10 yr. warrantee on parts and labor and the  co.'s 'Apples to Apples low price guarantee" in that they would match a lower compairable estimate. The temps outside at the time were single digits and I feared having damage done to my pipes with no heat...I ok'd the job to be done. I was thinking that the so-called 'Low Price Guarantee' would save me later. Turns out that this guarantee means NOTHING after the fact! I paid a check for 1/2 the total amount.The work was done the next day. I did not know what make boiler I was getting until they loaded it off the truck that am...apparently, neither did they.It was NOT the brand I was told at the time of contract.  It turned out to be a very low cost unit. I later checked the unit out on-line and found out it was aprox. a $1200.00 boiler. The installation went smooth as they removed my old unit and installed the new one. I asked the installation crew about an advertized $250 rebate offer for install of a new boiler and he concured. This was later recinded after he called 'the office'. After installation, I paid the balance and was given a very non-descript receipt for installing a boiler and h/w tank....it read-paid $5000 to install furnace. I asked for an itemized invoice and was told that they 'dont do that'. They DID NOT honor the rebate promised earlier either. I called the salesman and he promised to send out an itemized invoice so that I could see what I paid for the boiler, tank and parts/labor so that I could take advantage of my contract's 'Low price Guarantee'. It has been almost 4 weeks and my calls and requests have gone unanswered. I have since gotten estimates for the same work from other reputable co's. at over $1000 less. I guess I have been taken.I should have gotten more estimates even though the work was required immeadiatly due to the weather. I feel that this company price gouges where immeadiate work is required due to weather.They will not honor their so-called 'Low Price Guarantee' . I never recieved their advertised $250 rebate for installation of a new furnace or promised rebate for other equipment such as thermostats, etc. When called, the office simply turns my call over to the salesman's voicemail and he never returns my calls. I would never hire this company again and I would warn others the same.
   2/20/13- Finally got somewhat of an itemized bill from these people. They stated that I was charged over $2400 for the cost of the boiler...not installed, just the cost of the unit alone. When I presented internet print outs of the same unit at $1200 w/free shipping and all parts...was told they didnt care...they were not going to match the price let alone beat it. I had gotten estimates from 3 reputable, local competitors. I had to pay service charges to obtain these. All of these were to install similar products.I did not tell these companies what I paid...all of them came back within $100-$200 of each other and about$1000 less than what I paid. One/Hour dismissed these as being 'fixed' and ignored them. All parts and labor for their job came to just over $4450. I was then told the additional $550 was to cover the warranty on the products and service. So basically...a 100% or more mark up on all parts...+ their labor costs....+ around 10% to cover warrantys...this is what you will pay when hiring this company....buyer beware is all I can say.

I was pleased with their services. They are always on time and early for the job.

This company lives up to its name! After discovering the company we had used before had gone of business, we headed straight to ANGIE'S LIST and found ONE HOUR HEATING AND A/C. Our service call was answered quickly and found to our good fortune that a serviceman was in the area and would be at our house within "one hour". True to their name the service rep arrived within the hour and went right to work and was finished------in an hour! We were fortunate that we only needed electrical leads replaced on the condensor.The service rep was professional and friendly and took the time to clean and check all A/C components inside and out. A+

Not very happy with the installation.  Installer would not listen to my requests as to placement of the compressor and pad.Did not know that the ugly vents would be put right in the middle of the back of the house until after the holes were drilled.It is ugly and detracts from the appearance of the house.  Damage is done and there isn't anything I can do about it.
Since this installation, I looked up the system on the internet and found that I have been overcharged for this system.Be warned -  Get three or more estimates before hiring anyone!!!I have learned my lesson.

Got here on time, worked quickly and effeciently, was thorough and professional. took enough time to check every part of the furnace and even checked the AC even though it was not required.

Overall, everything went very well. They were professional, friendly, and informative. The prices were fair. I would use them again.

The plumbing part of One Hour is another company which is a break off from One Hour.  They came back and fixed a kitchen faucet for us.  One Hour arrived punctually and they were very professional.  They wore covers under their feet when they came into the house.  I just liked them.  He came in and did what he had to do and he left.  Their

They are wonderful.  They are here when they say they are going to be.  They are prompt, do the work and don’t try to sell me more than what I need.  They are very efficient.  Their punctuality is perfect.  They are amazingly well prepared.  They are so professional that they know what they need to do.

We are a member of their club, where you pay a certain amount a year and you are entitled for the services where they come and clean your furnace. If you have something that breaks down, you get $25 or something similar off the service call. They just had to clean out the vent or something and it wasn’t a big job. They always show up on time and they are always very clean and put little booties on. They are usually very polite and explain everything. Before they do anything, they ask you whether t you want that done or sometimes they give you an alternative. They are just always very nice and we’ve been using them for a couple of years now. Depending on whether it is a furnace or the air conditioner, they send different people out. They all seem very knowledgeable and they always fix whatever the problem is; so I guess they know what they are doing.

It went very well.  My A/C is reaching the end of it's life but I do have a few years left on it.  My service man replaced the freon in the system, cleaned it out (including the huge mouse nest that was in it) and checked all furnace filter's and ducts.  The filter needed to be replaced last October and I forgot so after we laughed about it he went out to his truck and got me a new one.  He explained to me in detail about how and when to change it again and where to purchase them when I do.  My online appointment reminder came with a link to a $25.00 coupon that I had printed so the filter was basically free.  The maintenance appt. itself was free because I had purchased the member package so I only paid $100 for the freon.  The maintenance man (who's name I won't share for his privacy but we are on a first name basis now) always wears shoe protectors when he comes in the house to protect my floors and always involves me in every move he makes on the system.  He give's me all my options if something needs to be done (like replacing my filters) and always give me his sound personal advice when I ask for it.  He never dance's around trying to make the company money, he tells me what's best for me, my system and my wallet and tells what the company offers if I choose to use the company's services or not.  He was and is always very polite and professional when at my home and I would recommend the company to anyone without hesitation.

The price was fairly reasonable since they came out on a Saturday night at 11:30 pm.

I called Duffett Plumbing to have my furnace cleaned and checked. They came and let me know my furnace was 30 years old and that I could save money with a new one. We talked over my options and the gentlemen who installed it wore booties on their feet to not track anything into the house.

This was the first time, that I have used Duffett Plumbing and Heating and am happy everything turned out well. They worked in a timely and efficient manner, and did quality work. And they even hauled the old unit away.

Dufett Plumbing is just quick to respond and they are very professional. I would refer them to others. They are not just sitting around waiting for calls, they keep busy.

I would recommend Duffett Plumbing & Heating to all my friends and family. We have used them for several years doing maintenance. They always do a great job and clean up when they are finished.
