Alterations/Sewing/Decorating
I have a treasured long wool overcoat that has seen a lot of misadventures. As a result, the lining was torn in several places, and the buttons were all coming loose. I took it to Collana's to see if he could replace it. I wanted to keep the color of the lining as close as possible to the original, so Mr. Collana needed to obtain special fabric, which added a few days to his estimate. But when I picked it up, I was VERY impressed with his work. The new lining is of far better quality than the original, and looks fantastic! I am extremely pleased with the work and will definitely take all alterations and repairs to his shop in the future.
A couple of notes - this is a cash only business. No personal checks or credit cards accepted. Also, Mr. Collana has a unique sense of humor, so don't be alarmed if he joshes and flirts with you constantly. He's a real sweetheart.
