Scott Maag Went over budget and ran out of our money leaving us without a house to live in. We signed a contract for $240,000 and this job will end up costing us over $300,000. Suppliers and subcontractors were not paid in full by Scott Maag and have threatened to put mechanics liens on our house. We had to pay for these services twice in some cases. He also didn't pay his employees in full and told them that we didn't pay him so they came to us looking for money!!!!!! This man has no problem leaving small children homeless and without heat in cold snowy weather and he never once apologized to us for this serious under-bidding of this project. We also spoke with 3 other customers of his who were also ripped off, but for not nearly as much money. he has since shut down his website and left his home and disconnected his phone. he just walked away from the contract and even lied to us on numerous occasions. If this guy ever surfaces somewhere looking for work as a contractor or any other job where he is paid money, I would never ever hire him. if you want an honest decent guy who won't rip you off, Go elsewhere.
