Ferguson customer service was beyond EXCELLENT. They certainly did everything possible to see to it we were taken care of properly. We will never buy another Newport Brass faucet but we certainly will not hesitate to do business again with Ferguson. In this day and age to see such wonderful customer service is amazing.
Description of Work: We had occasion to purchase a Newport Brass faucet from Ferguson in Greenvale NY. The plumber came and removed the old faucet and installed the new Newport Brass faucet. The NEW faucet was defective and leaked. We contacted Ferguson and they in turn immediately got in touch with Newport Brass. Newport Brass admitted the faucet was defective verbally and told the Ferguson rep (Christin) to send an e-mail. This of course did us no good as we were now without a working faucet. Newport Brass was in no hurry to correct this problem. Ferguson knew this was a poor way to handle the problem so they overnighted a new faucet from their warehouse to us. The plumber came again and installed the new faucet., Because we now had to pay to install the same faucet twice Ferguson credited our charge with the additional plumbing costs.
