RATSEY CONSTRUCTION

We used Ratsey Construction to form out our second floor and put on a new roof. Their work is impeccable !! The crew worked like a well oiled machine and left my home clean I would definitely recommend Ratsey Construction to friends and family.

I was really not happy with them nor was I happy with their attitude. I had an area that was rotted from termites and I had a wall on the outside that was also eaten by termites so I wanted both of those things to be replaced. He came when he said he would come.

We liked the fact that he was able to come right out and take care of this because the water damage was really bad. We are going to hire him this summer to install a new roof.

Dealing with this company was a very unpleasant experience. The proprietor is moody and erratic and lacks communication skills. It is very difficult to discuss a project with him, as he interrupts, talks over and even shouts at the customer, Overall he was extremely disrespectful. He sent employees to my house without my permission, and these employees did not knock on the door or make any attempt to make their presence known. They even spit on my lawn. When I called the proprietor to complain, he shouted at me and said that he did not want my job and could earn more money elsewhere. He then sent a man around to my house with the corbels that had been cut; however the carpenter hired subsequently could not use any of these as they were not reproduced correctly. There was little attention to detail. In addition, although the molding he was asked to make had been made by him before, the knives had been ''lost'' and I was told they would have to be re-made at great expense.
