I sent this email and fax to MAG requesting that they give us a call so that we can come to an amicable settlement in this matter. They never responded. (631) 754-0486 Fax (631) 754-9067 Dear Michael, As you know, on January 26th 2011, we contracted with your company to remove the snow from the driveway and walkways of our home. When I met with you at hour home on Wednesday, we reviewed the work to be done and you promised to do a professional job. After your crew left on Thursday, we immediately became aware of significant problems with the job they did. The snow removal services were completely inadequate and caused us tremendous hardship The first thing we noticed was that your crew only completed half of the walkway. We found that they had only cut a narrow path through the snow on the walkway that extends from the front door to the driveway. They failed to remove any snow whatsoever from the walkway that extends from our front door to the street making it impossible for any guests or deliveries to get to our door in all the snow. I immediately called Karyn at your office who promised that your crew would return within 1 hour to complete the walkways and clear the path down to the street. Next, we found that the condition of the driveway was in awful shape. Your crew had cut a path so narrow from the street to the garage that it would have been very difficult to maneuver a car down to the street. In addition, your plow left a huge snow bank in front of our garage door making it impossible for us to back our car out. We also noticed approx. 2-3 inches of ice on our driveway. Apparently, your plow had tamped down the snow which then refroze as ice. When your crew failed to return, I spent the next 4 hours clearing the driveway and walkways. Although I was able to widen the path, and remove the snow bank in front of the garage, the work your crew did made it impossible to completely clear the ice from the driveway. I am requesting that you give us a call so that we can come to an amicable settlement in this matter. I contacted Karyn again to review the entire situation with her and she told us that you would call us right back to discuss the issues. We have waited over 72 hours and regretfully you never called. I then sent this email to the email address that you gave me when you sent the contract. I know that you received this email because I received an acknowledgement of delivery. I then called Karyn again, who confirmed receipt of the email and gave me your cell phone number (516) 457-7245. I called, left you a message, but again, you failed to return my call. I am submitting this to Angie's List resolution service.
