Chris gave me a great price. He said he would do it that day. He said he had installed many solar attic fans. He was on time, professional, and did I great job. If you need something done on your roof, don't hesitate to call JC Roofing.

Found and repaired a roof shingle area which was not repaired properly in the past by another company, allowing water to enter the house in small quantities.  He instantly diagnosed the problem, and since I had matching shingles, was able to repair the area on the initial visit.  Total time spent was about 15-20 minutes to fix the area, and his response time from when I called was only two days (no rain was in the forecast).  It's been two weeks and no leaks.  Would recommend to others.

He is one of the best in the world. His work is meticulous. If he says he is going to do the job on Monday, he comes out on Saturday and Sunday and checks out the driveway or where he will put his tools. He is one of the few good guys in the world. You rely on his good work. If there is a problem, he will come out and fix it. He does not do warrant but I trust him.

I originally had them out to clean the gutters, but then was shown all of the problems I had with the present gutters. Whenever it rained, I would have water falling next to the house, missing the gutters. After showing me the problems with my present old gutter system, they installed new gutters on my home. They did a very professional job, and I would use them again. I will use them for all of my gutter cleaning needs.

I called J C Roofing in the morning because we found the ceiling in our kitchen was leaking during crazy rains at night. I told Chris where I lived and he said he lived close by so he would try to pass by and check it out. He came that same morning got up on my roof and could see that the plumbing vent pipes on my roof had some cracks at the boot due to drying out over time. He put some tar around and said that would solve the problem. Such an honest, great guy! courteous and very professional. He did not want to charge anything since and quot;he lived close by and it was no big dealand quot;. I highly recommend him!! He knows his craft and is really efficient. I will definitely call J C roofing for any roof work in the future!

I hired Chris Shaw of JC Roofing to replace my mother-in-law's roof that was damaged from Sandy. Chris and his crew tore off 2 layers of old roofing, replaced some damaged plywood and installed a new roof of architectural style shingles. They also removed the old antenna from the roof. The work site was immaculate afterwords, which I really appreciated. I thought the price was very reasonable for the work that was done. The new roof is just beautiful! Chris and his crew did a great job. Chris was a pleasure to work with and he made it very easy for me as I was coordinating the work long distance from my home in Minnesota.

They did an excellent install and they cleaned up after themselves as if they were never here.
The price was a good price and the quality of the work is excellent.
I did find one problem with one of my gutters not anchored down properly. Chris came back the following week and fixed the gutter immediately.
I am a very happy home owner. Lucky to have minimal damage from Hurricane Sandy and lucky to have found Chris on Angie's list.
He could have come up with a scalp price with all the roof replacements going on, but he didn't.

I had lost some shingles off my roof ridge during hurricane Sandy and was anxious to get them replaced before the next storm arrived. With communications being very difficult due to broken power lines and damaged cell phone towers, I was not getting connected to anyone and was getting very concerned. Around 4.00pm on Friday I called Chris at J C Roofing located close to where I live. Chris answered his cell immediately and I explained the problem. He was working on a job at the time and asked me to leave my contact information on his voicemail and he would try to get to my house on Saturday or Sunday.
At 9.30 am on Saturday Chris called to say he could come over in fifteen minutes and he did. He replaced the missing shingles and completed an inspection on the whole roof to be sure nothing else was damaged. Very friendly and professional. I would call him again for roof repairs. The amount paid was my suggestion not his. As he lived close by and the job did not take long he was reluctant to accept $100. For me, the peace of mind of getting my roof fixed quickly and ahead of the next storm was worth every penny.

I called up Chris at JC Roofing and asked him to come to my home to give me an estimate for a roof repair job. I had found at least one leak around a venting pipe. He told me he would try to come to my home within a week or so.Well he did. He called this past Saturday, May 19, 2012 and said he could drop by and take a look at my roof and let me know what is going on and give me an estimate.When he arrived we spoke and then he headed right up to the roof and almost immediately came down and told me that the tar around my venting pipes for the bathrooms was old and cracked. It happens. Over time, the tar needs to be re-applied and that when he does a new roof he uses silicon rather than tar.Well he now went to his vehicle and went right back up and repaired my leaks by applying tar in the vent pipe areas.He comes back down and I ask: and quot;How much? and quot; He says nothing don't worry about it. I was passing by anyway on my way to see a friend. Just remember me when it is time to replace your roof in 5-10 years or so!Unbelievable! A great guy, courteous, efficient and responsive. Furthermore, he told me if there is still a leak to call him and he will come right back and do further repair work.What can I say? A fantastic experience.

Chris was an exceptional person and easy going. He came over to my home immediately when I told him I had a hole in my roof and repaired temperately right then and there. I had called several other roofers before him and all were nasty and not willing to come at all. I will use JC roofing again and would advise how ever is reading this to use him as well. Chris is one of the last good people around!!!!! A++++++

He was excellent. The price was fair and did a very neat job. He came when he said he would, the job took no longer than he said it would. He even did a little repair work on my chimney for free. he was very polite and very professional and I would highly recommend him.
