for starters, there was some serious miscommunication, as i asked for deep cleaning and steaming of the fridge and jaccuzzi. Yvonne said "no problem, will steam", and at the last moment turns out what she meant was that knows how to use a power steamer but she doesn't have one, so we had to provide.
she tried to change the time of our appointment at the last moment as she got another job later that day, so obviously she was rushing to finish the job asap, and the quality suffered.
i was hoping she would clean the windows as we discussed (and maybe i have high expectations but when i clean double-hung windows, i clean both inside and outside, and the inside of the windowsill, and creases around the hardware), however, she only wiped them from the inside and said that she doesn't clean outside. the window locks and hardware still had the old yellow grease on them, and windowsills still had last year's dirt and bugs inside. so i ended up re-doing the windows myself, not very productive.
as for the bathroom and kitchen, i ended up spot checking and finding "virgin" spots that were not touched at all, so attention to details wasn't there. when i asked her to re-do those areas, she got all worked up and snapped "we are done here, we gotta go, we cannot be here all day", grabbed her payment and stormed out.
so if you have high expectations, do yourself a favor -- hire someone else.

She is excellent.  You have to outline ahead of time what you want her to do; she will do laundry and ironing but I don’t have her to do that.  You can have her do a really thorough cleaning when she starts where she moves the furniture and everything.  She has teams of people come to the house and they always show up when they are supposed to.  They don’t complain about the fact that I live in a situation that is difficult to get to.  They use my cleaning products but they bring their own heavy duty vacuum.
