Analyzed what was needed and the diligently repaired cracks and broken mortar joints in my low stone wall caused by its being undermined when the town broke up and replaced my concrete sidewalk.

Alex is the rare contractor who is honest, hardworking, patient, and does really high quality work. Highly, highly recommended. He installed a brick walkway which was difficult because we had to match new bricks with old bricks on the stoop (which were still good) but which were 25 years old. Alex busted his but to find a supplier in Jersey who could provide the bricks. But the supplier them went palms up and delayed the delivery. Regardless, he kept us informed throughout and in the end we have a beautiful walkway. The neighbors have complemented us and asked for his name. He is not only honest, but his prices are reasonable and the bricks had no markup. I almost hate to leave a glowing review as I plan to use Alex for other projects, but he earned it and I hope he gets some quality customers. And he shows up to not only provide an estimate, but to show you a stack of photos of the many walkways, driveways, patios, cement work, walls, etc, he's done. He obviously takes pride in his work which is virtually unknown in this day and age. Highly recommended.

Alta Construction did some concrete work at my home. They came quickly, came when they said they would and on multiple days to finish the project, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

Alex Tanzman is not only the best Mason I have ever hired, he is the best construction worker I have ever experienced. We hired Alex to install a backyard paver patio and stepping stone walkway. It was just an amazing installation. I had a couple of side mason items to be completed and his devotion to doing it right was just the best in the business. Alex was a pleasure to work with, and provided an abundance of options when unexpected challenges arose. He was also such a pleasure to work with as he was more than happy to explain everything he was doing. In closing, Alex Tanzman has the best project costs, and the best quality product. I was given a price for the job by email promptly. Also, the contractor was patient, waited for me to receive other estimates and responded to all my questions and concerns with respect. Both owner and helpers were professional and courteous. Each step of the installation was explained in detail and the job was completed to my complete satisfaction.

A contractor true to his word and one who kept in contact with you to let you the status of the job. If he was going to be 15 minutes late he always called and let me know. The work was done the correct way and showed thought that other contractors didn't put into doing my job. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive price I got. The cheapest guy never showed up when he was suppose to do the job. Probably because the job couldn't be done that cheaply and he realized it. The highest price guy was probably correct in that price because it took 1 1/2 days. I almost gave Alta the extra $.

Very honest and hard working. He does not price gouge! All other contractors were trying to take advantage of sandy storm victims. He priced the job as it should be. I have a const. Background, price quoted was the same at the end unlike other contractors that try to make more money for silly add-ons. Alta had to reschedule but communication was good (that's just part of construction!). Overall the quality of his workmanship was good. As they say if you see something say something, and I did and he corrected the minor defect with no problem. You can tell he is an experienced mason. Great job. Thanks. Will call for more work in the future
