The contractor did not complete the installation of a concrete driveway, porch, steps and sidewalk correctly and used substandard quality concrete. In addition the contractor caused addition damage to the property when completing the work. Specifically when installing the driveway they hit the house with the tractor and put a hold in the side of the house through the metal siding. The owner of the company when removing the old driveway, cracked the walkway in a separate area of the property not under construction and cracked the stampcrete walkway to the back yard. They did not repair the damage. The concrete work is not correct. The porch concrete is already cracking and the coloring of the porch is brown concrete while the sidewalk and driveway are white. They also left the front lawn landscaping a mess and did not clean up afterwards. The company is not returning telephone calls. In addition, the company did work on the neighbors steps and did not do the work correctly. They are not returning calls to the neighbor after several attempts to contact them.Vandusen has 3 pervious Better Business Bureau Complaints dating back to 2009 with a Rating of F. They also messed up my neighbors front steps and will not call them back. I unfortunately paid them, my neighbor luckily did not pay them for the work they did and Vandusen walked away with no further communication. The steps in the rear of my house are now cracking as of June 27th just a little over one month since doing the work.
Description of Work: The service was to remove the old driveway, sidewalk, front and rear steps and replace with a new concrete driveway and walkway and new front and rear steps.
