Renovation is still ongoing. This company is a class act. They got all the permits necessary, deal with the inspections, order all the materials in a timely fashion. The lead carpenter (Brad) is a perfectionist. His work ethics and results are outstanding.His laborer (DAn) is a diligent worker and never stops. They are on time every single day starting before 8am and sometimes not leaving until 5:30 or 6pm to get the job done. I am disabled and they make sure I can get out of the house when needed and work around my schedule. The project managers Ramon and Joe are on hand several times a day to make sure everything is going on schedule. We gave them 2 pages from an Excel spreadsheet telling them what we want done and they don't miss a line. Everything is done how we want it if not better. They have wonderful personalities and are easy to deal with. We wholeheartedly recommend this company and would not use any other.

The experience was awful as was the work.
Work began in March of 2011 and we still cannot use our Master Bathroom.
Sub contractors were unprofessional and unsupervised by the contractor. Work was done incorrectly and has to be redone.
Our home was a mess because of a total lack of concern for our property.
Because there was no progress in resolving our issues we contacted our county Consumer Affairs Department. That was in November of 2011 and nothing has changed. Both we and Consumer affairs have been stalled for almost two years trying to get this situation resolved.
The tactics used by Ruby are to keep stalling. They have been totally unreasonable. All we have ever requested is that the job we had contracted for be completed correctly.
The latest we have heard is that if we got estimates to have the work completed by outside sources and Ruby approves them, they will pay to have the work completed. That will be with the caveat that we will not be able to communicate the horrible experience we have had! By the way, we supplied the estimates to Consumer Affairs who contacted Ruby immediately for review almost three months ago and nothing has been resolved.
