SUNSHOWER SERVICES INC

We have used Sunshower to open and close our sprinkler system for the last couple of years. We contacted them after installing a pool to inquire about them providing an estimate to repair the backyard system that was torn up during the pool install. They said they no longer give estimates. They said they could come soon to turn on the front system. We also booked a date for them to do the services weeks out but we were uncomfortable hiring them to do work not knowing what the cost was, so we contacted other providers in the meantime. When John came to turn the system on he let us know that our new patio was laid where they couldn't connect the water line, so they were unable to do the work until we got it fixed. Which we did. We solidified a date with another provider Wednesday morning (2 days before Sunshower was scheduled to come out) I was about to call to cancel our appointment when I received a call from their office saying John would be out the next day to do our install. I explained the situation. A few days later I received a bill for $89 for the first visit where no work could be completed and $350 for the cancelled install that "wasn't within the required 24 hour time". This was never told to me verbally or in writing, AND the appointment was scheduled for Friday which was 48 hours away when cancelled. When speaking with their office they insisted that the appointment was scheduled for Thursday, but agreed to waive the $350.

They showed up when they said they would and worked diligently throughout the entire day. All the outer edges of the sodded area are really clean. When they were done, there was some left over patches of sod. They asked where else I wanted sod placed and did so for free. I don't remember exactly what I paid.
