Very Expensive. I needed a new water heater right after Christmas and just before New Years. Jack Hall were the only ones answering, so I had to go with them. Overall they were very professional and did an excellent job, but they were very over priced and did the job for almost double what I could have gotten it done for if I had more time to shop around. I’ll continue to get quotes from them but I’ll only use them if those quotes are reasonable in the future.

I can't say enough good things about the folks at Jack Hall Plumbing & Heating! They did excellent work, and follow up. I got not only what I expected but more all at the price quoted and not a penny more. It can be so difficult to find someone you can trust, and these people are exactly that. They make your issue their issue and treat each problem as an opportunity to help you as if you were just a neighbor. Very friendly, polite and responsive and the way they treated my project guaranteed them a customer for life. The experience, knowledge, and way they treat their customers is nothing but grade A all the way around. Excellent company to do business with and place your faith and trust. They don't let you down!

I am very unhappy. I was clear from the start that the issue was a blockage between the main house drain and the washer. The plumbers and I discussed what had to be done to make the washer work again (remove the current pipes and install a larger one without so many elbow joints), I repeatedly said there were no other issues in any other drain. Then, out of nowhere, they decided the best approach was to snake the main house drain... where we had no problems. And although they asked me before any work was done, nobody said that labor was per person. I was quoted $150-$200 for the new pipes that we first decided needed to be done, so when I'm told it's $95 plus $75 for the snake, I do not assume I'll be paying more to snake a drain than to remove and install new pipes. I didn't request two plumbers, yet I was shocked to find I had to pay the hourly rate for two without anyone telling me until it was too late. From the first discussion our issue was the washing machine... yet after paying nearly $900, I was told that I should go to the laundromat since the issue wasn't fixed. They snaked a drain and removed a small handful of roots. Then they said they needed to come back and replace those pipes at a different time. After they left, we fixed the issue ourselves. I had planned on calling them back for a future $3000 job they said we need, but I have zero faith in them now. The plumbers were very nice, but I was overcharged and the work didn't even solve my issue. I'm not even going to mention they used my shop vac to clean up the sewage. I sent them feedback, as requested, and it's been weeks with zero communication from them. They aren't even worried about unhappy customers.

Great company I would use this company before anyone else!

They came totally unprepared for the job they needed to do. I scheduled this job and told the rep what I needed done. I couldn't understand how they did not have anything on the truck for supplies. I would not recommend them based on how expensive they were and totally unprepared.

Everything was going fine until the concrete contractor asked if he could pour. He said it was ready to pour. After the pour the interior was constructed and two of the lines were off and unusable. We contacted TY hall and request a fix.... nothing.....we requested the balance of our deposit not used, his response was, I don't give back money..... buyer beware...don't use them...

I originally had called another service on May 7th, based on a recommendation from a co-worker. That service never returned my phone message or responded the message I sent via Angie's List. We had used Jack Hall in the past, so I called them on May 8th. Our appointment was scheduled for May 21st, but they offered to let me know if they had a cancellation and could fit me in sooner. I got a call on May 12th that they had an opening on the 13th, and I gratefully accepted. Jeff showed up promptly, was very professional and polite -- explained what he was doing and very obviously knows his stuff. We are very happy with the service and price and will gladly recommend Jack Hall to anyone.

Initially, I called with a small list of minor plumbing issues and asked if they fix dishwashers. The response was "yes, we fix dishwashers and can help you with your plumbing issues as well". Fast forward to service day...the plumbers were a little late, but nothing too abnormal. They looked at the toilet and faucet and said they would have to go get the parts (why they didn't bring them with escapes me) and when I asked if they could fix the dishwasher, they said "we don't do that" ok, no problem. So, they go to get parts for the toilet and faucet, come back and "fix" the issues. 2 hours later, leaving me with a whopping $350 bill, grease everywhere and my things (trash cans, a basket with magazines) strewn about. Not even half a day later, the toilet breaks. Now I'm upset. I call and speak to the owner, saying that they left the toilet worse. He had the audacity to say (with a chuckle), "sometimes that happens, I'm not sure when I'll be able to fix it, I'll have someone call you tomorrow". Now I'm fuming. I tell him that is not acceptable, I need a working toilet. He says "maybe I'll get there by the end of the day" I waited all day and he finally comes by 6:30 or 7. He blames the problem on our old chain and says it just "broke, it's not our problem, it's an old toilet." I said I am not paying another dime and he says "I didn't charge you to come tonight" I couldn't believe it! The way in which it was handled on top of the steep price. I will NEVER use Jack Hall ever again. Rude, dishonest and unorganized! Worst experience ever.

These folks advertise emergency service, 24 hours. I realized that I'd
lost my heat late at night and figured I'd call in the morning, leave a
message to get a service man, and it would get fixed. Only problem, the
number they advertise isn't an emergency number. I got a bored voice
saying how they couldn't get to the phone right now. Finally I got a
recording that actually said Jack Hall plumbing and heating - after 2
hours of calling - and finally, about 45 minutes later that bored voice
called me told me as how a service man would get to us somewhere around
11:00, and here are the list of fees. Bear in mind we have a service
contract with these people. I told the bored voice that we had a
service contract, that their phone wasn't working properly and got a
snotty reply that she had just picked up messages on it - so I must be
wrong.
If you have an emergency, call anyone in the world except these folks.

They were on time, professional, and did a good job cleaning up. I was worried about them making a mess of the walls, but every section of wallt hat they had to take out, they replaced and it looked very good. Just a little prep and some paint made it look like new again. The job only took one day, and they got us up and running again. I was very pleased with the expereince.

They did a great job for me, and I was very please with the work they did. They are great plumbers.

They were very professional and on time. They also were honest about not having to fix a separate item on the water heater I thought may be broken. He could have told me something was wrong and charged me without me even knowing. So I appreciated their honesty.

They showed up on time, did the work as planned. Very professional and very good quality. No problems with their service and would hire them again.

I made the mistake of not getting a quote before the work began, so I paid their hourly rate. What a mistake! The plumber spent more time in his truck "looking for parts" than he spent working on the installation.

As advertized, on time no hassle

They're a bit pricy but overall did good work and actually called the company to figure out the best configuration of te water softner and water filter. No leaks and nice work.

He arrived on time and was professional in appearance and work ethic. He checked the whole system and showed me just what needed repair. He went right to work and when he finished he showed me everything that was done. I asked him if our air ducts needed cleaning. He stated that the ducts seldom needed cleaning. Years ago when we had some pluming issues another firm did a good job but they kept finding other work that they said should be done. One of the things they wanted to do was clean the ducts for one thousand dollars. Jack Hall's employe was honest.

these guys did a great job. made one mistake but it was not a big deal they fixed it. we will hire them again.
