About us

My name is Robert O'Brien and I am the owner of O'Brien construction. I have 4 full time employees in the summer , spring and fall . But I have up to 15 employees during the winter season for the snow removal operations. We work with a licesensed electrician and plumber for all of our projects. We typically take a down payment for the cost of materials at the beginning of the job and don't receive the final payment until the job is complete.

Yes, I recommend this pro
I opted not to hire the contractor because his schedule was too full.  He would not have been able to start work as soon as I wanted.  I never pursued the work and so I can't comment on price or quality.  His professionalism and work examples seemed good.  I would consider hiring him in the future.

Repairs/Remodeling due to house fire.
Sheetrock, insulation, painting, molding in 3 rooms that were gutted-Living Room, 2 Bedrooms.
Replaced 2 windows in upstairs bedroom.
Replaced front door, painted remaining existing interior doors in the house.
Painting in all rooms
Finished existing hardwood floors throughout the entire house.
Tiled kitchen floor, install new dishwasher.
Chimney replacement
Custom built fireplace mantel and surround
Worked closely with vendor to install new gas fireplace
Carpeted staircase
Carpet in upstairs bedroom closet and storage area in bedroom.
Complete Bathroom remodel
-gutted upstairs bathroom, floor was redone with installation of radiant heat pad and tile, sheetrock of walls and ceiling, electrical rewiring, we bought the appliances/tile/radiant floor pad and contractor performed the installation of all items including thermostat for floor heat. Custom built cabinet in bathroom.
