Went as smoothly as could be. They were extremely professional, prompt and highly skilled. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrical contractor.

Badly. The problem was very simple, obvious, quick to correct. But Munetz said it was a worn out socket and he replaced the sockets in two lamps, on the ceiling, which took a long time for two people working. I paid much more than I should have. Within a couple of hours the light was going out again, just like before. Then, by telephone, he said it was the bulbs--they were not compatible with the dimmer switch. We could change either the bulbs or the switch. We changed the bulbs (took about 2 minutes) and everything has been fine since. A professional electrician should have known as soon as he walked into the house what the trouble was without taking nearly two hours. He did do another small job, which was fine, no complaints. The price below is what I paid for just this unnecessary ceiling job.

Installed a new ceiling light in a location where there was not one before.  Found an existing electrical box in my wall that we had not known about, ran a line from the electrical box up to the ceiling and then installed the light.  Also installed the switch for the light and new electric outlet.
Showed up right on time, did the work quickly, and cleaned up everything when he was done.  Very happy with the results.

Tom was recommended by my super, I live in a VERY STRICT co-op building in NYC. For this very basic job I still needed to submit a renovation application to my Board including his license, certificate of insurance, a contract and we had to file a permit with the city. He was able to do/provide all of that and still kept the price reasonable. A few months prior I had painted my ceiling blue, the paint has some gloss in it (it sounds awful but it looks awesome) and the job he did with the ceiling fan was excellent. He made very small holes to run the wires and patched it very well. It was much less work than I anticipated to plaster it smoother before I painted and it looks like the fan was always there. He is VERY PUNCTUAL and PROFESSIONAL, worked quickly, cleaned up after he was done, gets back to you quickly if you call/email, and clearly takes pride in how he runs his business.

Mr. Munetz is extremely professional and has a very nice personality and is easy to work with. A man with integrity and a good work ethic. I recommend Menetz electrical without reservation and plan to use his services this upcoming spring. Briarwood Queens.

Electrician arrived at the appointment time to initially review and survey the job - he advised that parts needed to be ordered. Approximately a week and a half later, Electrician called to set up an installation appointment. Electrician arrived on time, immediately began working and completed the entire job in less than 2 hours. He also provided helpful advice regarding possible solutions to a problematic garage door opener without additional charge. Very pleased with the service provided; the electrician's apparent honesty and non-aggressive manner (quite the opposite of what is often seen in other contractors who independently search for other areas wherein they can possibly make extra money). I highly recommend and will call Muntz Electricians again with any future electrical work.

Tom came on time with his helper and did a fantastic job, cleaned up after they finished. I would use him again if I ever needed more electrical work done. He was very honest as to what we needed and did not try to convince us we needed more, as did a few others.

Called left message on Thursday and he returned my call one hour later. I scheduled an appiontment for Friday between 2 to 4 pm. He showed up on time and fixed the broken circuit breaker and replaced a dimmer switch. Happy with overall services and will use him again.

Very Well. I am satisfied and fixed a couple other problems that I did not realize were connected to this problem.

Tom (the owner) and Wayne were referred by my plumber after they suspected that a bad wire was the likely cause of the non-working boiler. They were able to come same day, which was a big relief. Both Tom and Wayne were very friendly and professional. Before they even started the work, they inspired confidence. Tom quickly confirmed the cause of the problem with his own diagnosis, and figured out where the broken wire was and what was causing it (a pocket door with a loose track was sliding back into the wall had rubbed the wire against a beam). Tom replaced the damaged wire with a new one which he skillfully ran up and over the pocket door well so it wouldn't get damaged (he also explained to me how to repair the door in the future). I couldn't believe how fast these guys were done. It had to be less than an hour. I got another pleasant surprise when he gave me the bill and it was FAR more reasonable than I'd expected, given the nature of the problem. By figuring out a easier and better solution, Tom avoided the need to run a whole new line in a different wall. This saved a lot of time and money. I've dealt with a slew of contractors over the last 18 months, and Tom and Wayne were two of the best I've seen yet.

They did a good job and I was very impressed. I would recommend them because they were on time and very thorough with their work. They made sure that every thing was done correctly the first time and overall, I was pleased with the experience.
